Song: Sweet little lies by Bulow
"I so need a shower." I tell him as I walk into the cabin.
The cabin is just as warm inside as it is outside. It's that time of year where it's just warm but the humidity is yucky causing your skin to me all sticky and your hair...haywire. We go around and rise up all the windows to let what little air will come in taking out some of the stale air. I also turn on a few of the ceiling fans. I hate being sweaty...I mean seriously if I don't have to get hot...I don't.
In my apartment I would always keep it around sixty-eight. It's not too cold but for sure not hot. Kade doesn't say anything about the temperature and it makes me wonder if he ever gets freaking hot because he didn't even break a sweat really.
"So take a shower." He says as he walks into the kitchen to get himself a drink.
"I don't think there are any towels." I start to tell him but then he points over to the hall closet. I walk over and open it up and to my surprise there are several towels rolled up and put away nicely. I take one out and head to the bathroom.
I peel off my jeans along with my panties, then my shirt and bra, tossing them on the floor. I start the shower and try not to pay attention too much to all the moldy stuff that has a ring around it and the rust that I noticed earlier. The water is at the right temperature, so I step in and let the water beat down on my body.
"Ahhhh! God that feels good." I wash my body with the little bar soap and then my hair; however they don't have any shampoo, so I assume the renters must provide that. Either way...the water feels amazing and my skin soaks up all the wetness. When I step out I dry off and then wrap the towel around my body.
I head out of the room, back to the bedroom where my backpack is and I pull out a few clothing items. As I am getting dressed I hear a grunt and then him clearing his throat.I jump around and the freaking towel falls to the floor; I hurriedly scramble it back in my hands and pull it back around me.
"What the hell...Kade close your eyes."
"It's not like I haven't see a naked girl before you know."
I roll my eyes at him. "Still...you haven't seen me...turn around....PLEASE!" I wait for him to turn around.
He starts to turn around slowly. "Seriously...Sophie...I have seen plenty of girls and they are all the same."
I rush to put on my spandex shorts and a baggy t-shirt. "Ok...you can look now."
"You know we are going to be here a while...you might as well get use to me catching a glimpse of you."
"Kade..."
"What...I'm just saying. You should not be ashamed of your body...you are one pretty lady."
I slap him against his arm while rolling my eyes at him. Then I head back to the kitchen where the fish sit in the sink waiting to be cleaned and filleted. Luckily I know how to do this. I grab one fish and place him on the counter and start gutting him out. Yes it's gross but it has to be done if we plan on eating it.
"How did you know how to do that?" Kade looks at me with a smirk.
"This...my dad use to clean fish. But I think I might have seen it on one of those cooking shows you know...it's really not that hard you want to try?"
He shakes his head and starts laughing. "Looks like you got it."
"Do I have to do everything...I mean hell I caught most of the fish and now cleaning them...I assume you want me to cook them too...hell might as well eat them all too."
