I push through the crowd, just in time to see Rylan's wolf leap on top of Jade's. Nipping at her neck, Rylan growls loudly. Jade's wolf bucks and flings Rylan's wolf. Jumping onto her side before she has a chance to get up. Rylan's wolf struggles, but eventually, whimpers in defeat.

Jade's wolf prances around in circles before she takes off through the crowd, probably to brag to her alpha. I roll my eyes with a small growl and help Rylan to her feet after she shifts back. Someone bumps into me, making my wolf growl.

Rylan winces and pokes at a scratch along her side. I scrunch up my nose at the wound and poke Rylan in the belly. She giggles and pushes me lightly.

"Hey!"

"What?" I ask, as innocently as I can.

"How did you fight go?" She asks, tugging her shirt back down to cover the scratch. I pretend to think about it and tap my finger against my lips.

"Well, you see..." I trail off. Rylan Huff's and bumps her hip into mine.

"Tell me!!!" Rylan shouts, getting the attention of basically everyone around us. I roll my eyes and bump my hip against hers.

"I won,"

Rylan takes ahold of my arm and starts to drag me off somewhere. I glance up at the sky and stop, jerking Rylan to a halt with me.

"What?" Rylan drags out the vowel with a whine. I smirk and gesture to the sky, watching the sun trail towards the horizon.

"It's getting dark."

"So?"

"So, I can't fight in the dark. Plus, there is a dinner tonight."

"I didn't say you were going to fight! I was just taking us to get some water..." Rylan trails off. I roll my eyes and tug her toward one of the tables filled with water.

"Father should be announcing the dinner soon, anyways."

"You just don't want to do another fight today." Rylan mutters. I roll my eyes and scoff.

"No, I just don't have time for another. And I'm tired, anyways."

Rylan rolls her eyes at this. She and I both know I am nowhere near tired right now. With a sigh, I plop down on the grass and watch the sun. It slowly makes its way toward the horizon. Rylan sits next to me with a wince.

"At least we still have a little bit of light before dinner. Maybe we should go watch some fights." Rylan says with a shrug. I shake my head.

"Naw, I'm just gonna lay here and watch the sun for a bit. Take a break from everything." Rylan nods along with this and leans back on her elbows, watching the sky turn colors.
