Valencia POV

As we return to the hotel, I turn to Zayd. "Do you want these clothes back?" I ask awkwardly.

"No. You can keep it. It loks better on you anyways" He smiles.

I try to keep my composure and just nod. I see Jaxxon smirking at the both of us.

"Just get together already." He says rolling his eyes.

Zayd immediately looks down blushing, while I chuckle.

Jaxxon looks down at his phone, immediately answering it. He gets up and leaves the room.

"Hey, Victoria." He says.

I hear him say, as he closes the door behind him leaving the room.

Tensing, I decide to change the subject.

"So, I better get going-" I get cut off.

"Yes!" He replies quickly.

I widen my eyes, "Well then, I better get going-"

"No, I mean no. You could stay here for a while." He suggests with pleading eyes.

"If you'd like." He adds.

"Um, yea sure." I mumble, sitting back on the bed nervously.

He sits next to me, "Do you want to watch anything?"

"Let's watch a horror movie." I suggest.

Widening his eyes "You sure? We could watch something else?"

"No, I'm good with horror. Unless, you're too scared watch it." I nudge with a smile on my lips.

Rolling his eyes, "Yeah me, scared of horror. Funny." He replies dryly.

Jaxxon returns, "So what are we going to do tonight?"

"Horror movie." Zayd and I answer at the same time.

In the middle of watching the movie: The Conjuring. I notice Zayd discreetly jumping in the scary scenes. Jaxxon watches a little, but then goes back to his phone texting.

Turning my head back to the tv, I suddenly hear a loud scream. Jaxxon and I whip our heads towards Zayd with wide eyes.

"Zayd?" I ask.

Zayd breathes heavily, putting a hand on his chest as Jaxxon and I burst out laughing, and he immediately turns glaring at us.

"Oh my God, you're scream!" I laugh.

Jaxxon shakes with laughter, and Zayd turns his attention back to the tv. His face firetruck red.

He rolls his eyes, "I faked it, just to make you guys laugh. It was a joke." He lies.

"Yeah man, you randomly decided to fake a scream in a middle of a scary scene." Jaxxon replies in a sarcastic tone.

"Zayd, it's normal to be scared of horror movies." I say in a understanding tone.

"Yeah, it's also normal for people to try to look for a dead girl."

Zayd turns his head towards him with a glare, and I tense.

"Too soon?" Jaxxon asks worriedly.

"Too soon." Zayd and I reply.

"Well, sorry." He mumbles, looking back at his phone.

I sigh, returning my attention back to the tv. Until, another scary scene appears again.

"Okay that's enough scary movies for tonight." Zayd says as he turns off the tv.

Jaxxon and I chuckle as Jaxxon gets up, and stretches his arms.

"Well this was fun. but I'm jet lagged! Night." He says leaving the room with a wave.

"Have fun!" He says before closing the door behind him.

Zayd and I sit there for a few minutes before turning towards each other awkwardly.

"I could sleep on the couch if you'd like." He says.

I hesitate. "No you can stay. We're adults just stay on that side of the bed." I point.

He nods and lays down as I lay beside him.

"I know nothing about you at all." He says as he turns his head.

"I know nothing about you either." I reply sitting up.

"Well, how about we do?" He asks.

I nod, as we start asking questions back and forth. Finding out that his mother left when he was young, leaving him in the horrible care of his father. He was alone most of his childhood until he met Jaxxon. His father would force him to train hard to the point where he would need get hospitalised. I could feel the anger he felt, as his voice breaks.

Then it was my turn, I told him about my parents including Victoria's hatred towards me. Telling him about how she always tries competing with me, trying so hard to satisfy to the point of sabotaging me and my parents trying to rid of me.

Feeling vulnerable at that moment, tears ran down my cheeks and he gribs my hand comfortingly. Turning away from his gaze, I lied to my side against his body  as he does the same. He gently puts his arm around my waist as we just lay there.  Only quietness is heard, as rain pours down the window roughly and I could feel his breath on my neck getting slower as he falls asleep.
