Valencia POV
Watching Jisoo and Victoria talk to each other, thoughts filled my head on how Gabriella and I could rekindle our friendship. This was my fault, I needed to explain to her the full story on what happened. My thoughts get cut off as I hear Zayd's voice.
"Valencia?"
"Yeah sorry. What'd you say?"
"I was asking if you wanted to go somewhere else. It doesn't seem like you're having fun."
"What, no. I am." I lie, forcing a smile.
Zayd shakes his head, "Come on, let's go."
"Zayd, I'm fine seriously. Nothing's wrong."
Ignoring my comment, he grabs my hand and pulls me up. I stumble and follow him, leaving the packed club. The others see us and continue talking.
The cold air immediately hits my face, I take a deep breath closing my eyes. As I lean against the cold brick wall, I feel heat press against the side of my body. Opening my eyes, I turn my head and look up to see Zayd staring deeply at me.
"What's wrong?"
"I should be asking you that since you haven't spoken a single word since I've asked you to be my girlfriend."
I sigh and look down. "I've just been thinking about Gabriella."
He stays quiet, as I continue talking.
"I've been friends with her since Kindergarten, it feels weird since this was our first fight."
He looks down at me raising an eyebrow "That was your first fight with her?"
"Yeah, we've rarely fought especially one this big."
"Damn, I fight with Jaxxon nearly everyday." He says staring ahead at the busy street.
I laugh, "Wow, have you guys ever fought over something serious?"
"Once, but that's a story for another time." He said, not making eye contact with me.
I take that as a sign to to not push him any further on the subject.
"I'm in the mood for ice cream." I say out of nowhere.
He chuckles, "There's one a couple of blocks down the block."
"Let's go." I immediately say, as he starts walking down the street.
Following him, we walk beside each other silently.
Arriving to the vivid flashing store, the bells ring as we walked through the door. Looking around, I notice that it was empty as there was only one employee working.
"Welcome." She says dully.
I gave her a smile walking past by and to the ice cream machines. Choosing many flavors and toppings, I turn to Zayd.
"You don't want anything?"
"No, I'm good."
I turn back to the cashier, to see Zayd giving her his credit card and paying.
"Seriously, I could've paid." I grumble.
He shrugs and takes a seat on the nearby tables. Grabbing my cup of ice cream, I walk over to him and begin eating.
He leans back on his chair and laces his fingers staring at me.
"What?" I mumble, my spoon in my mouth.
"Nothing."
"Why are you staring at me?"
He shrugs, saying "What do you want me to do?"
