are opposites which seek each other
like minuses and pluses that make atoms
war and alliance live as dual long-term lovers

a proton or electron of galactic crumbs
gathered in sweeping strokes by pastry-makers
feeding hungry souls and egos
with delicious sensory creations
crispy pies with fillings of honey
harvested by ones who learned
to overcome the predators within
and gravitate towards repulsive bees in friendship
