LEXA'S POV

"HEDA HEDA, WE HAVE LOST CLARKE, SHE IS NOT IN HER TENT", I hear Anya screaming, as she rushes into my  tent "I sent out patrols Heda but-........oh". She quickly looses her voice as she stares down at my bed and finds Clarke cuddled into my chest, and me glaring at her.

"My apologies Heda, I see she is not lost......just stolen" she says smirking back at me.

"Get. Out." I snarl back, but I know me and Clarke will never be able to get Anya to shut up about this.

I hear small whimpers coming from my arms, and glance down to see her eyes slowly fluttering open.

Last night had been rough for both of us, after she told me about her dark past we both stayed  admiring the view for at least an hour, but eventually I knew we had to go back.

"Clarke.......I think we need to go back, if not we will end up falling asleep out here"

With no reply I slowly untangle myself from Clarke's arms and gaze down at her, when she tries to stand herself up, I chuckle and instead scoop her back up in my arms, turning  to walk back to camp, "you thought I had forgotten, hmm?"

"I can dream Lexa", she mumbles with a sigh.

But thankfully she does not seem to fight me carrying her, slowly relaxing into my arms.

After a few minutes she speaks, "how the hell can you carry me so easily?"

All I can do is smile, "I am Heda Clarke".

"That's not fair, it isn't an answer?"

"Maybe not to you, but I'll have you know, this Heda can do pretty much anything", I tried to put as much confidence as I could in my words, and attempted to imitate Raven's eyebrow wiggle thing that usually causes Clarke to laugh, and it works. Her eyes shine bright and she lets out a loud laugh, which in my opinion might just be the most beautiful sound in the world.

When we got back to TonDC I refused to even question it, and instead brought Clarke back to my tent rather than her own.

"Urm, Lexa?"

"I'm not letting you out of my sight tonight" I say to her as I carefully lay her down amongst my furs and whisper "and hopefully never again", but I am unsure if she hears it. I cover her with furs and turn to place myself in the chair to sleep but just as I do, I feel a hand clutch onto my wrist and beg "please don't leave me Lex", after a few moments of staring into her desperate eyes, I slowly lower myself into bed besides her and she instantly clings to me, making me chuckle.

Usually I would hate to be this close to someone, but with Clarke it's different, I am no longer hiding from her and instead, pull her closer to me and rest my chin on the top of her head.

"Reshop, Heda", she whispers with a sigh.

"Goodnight, Clarke".

I'm guessing Anya had gone to check on Clarke, most likely worried after seeing her in pain last night, and obviously panicked when she saw her bed empty, I can't help but chuckle.

"Good morning Clarke".

"Well I guess it's a better way to wake up than yesterday......morning Lex"

I feel her trying to shift in my arms, ready to get up.

"No."

"What do you mean 'no' Lexa? We have to move from this bed at some point."

"shhhhh", I whisper, with my eyes still closed. It seems to work as she chuckles and carefully rests her head back down on my chest. After a few minutes of silence, it is clear neither of us want to move at all, but I hear a quiet rustle at the side of the bed and instantly bolt my eyes open, reaching for a dagger.........when I am met by a familiar freezing sensation all across my body.

I feel Clarke quickly sit up next to me, so I'm guessing that she feels it too, and I quickly scan the room, both Anya and Raven are stood with two empty buckets each, both doubled over laughing. I turn to Clarke, giving her a smirk and instantly we both understand, she eyes Raven and I glare at Anya and within 2 seconds, we had both pounced and had them pinned to the floor.

"Oh come on guysssss.........you've gotta' admit it was kinda funny" pleads Raven from underneath Clarke.

I release Anya and stand above her, "perhaps Raven, but do not forget....I am Heda, so I have the power to punish you in any way that I like", I walk over to Raven as Clarke slowly climbs off of her, both of us smirking, "so make sure you are both prepared for tonight......it will be a long one for the both of you".

With that Raven sits up and glares at Lexa making all of us chuckle, but that glare gradually fades until she flashes her signature smirk and shrugs, "so worth it".

CLARKE'S POV

Both Anya and Raven have left, leaving me and Lexa stood awkwardly in the tent staring at eachother, I am not quite sure how to act around her after last night. I have never seen her seem so vulnerable, she usually has to act mainly emotionless in front of her people, she is Heda after all, so the fact that she allowed me to see her weakness completely shocks me, though I am still unsure of what that means.

I am quickly ripped out of my thoughts however by her gentle voice, though she has a smirk plastered on her face.....this can't be good.

"What do you wish to do today, Clarke?"

"Huh? I thought we were training today?"

"No. I told you last night you are not permitted to even step on your foot today."

"Wait......you were serious about that?"

"I am always serious Clarke".

I can see her trying to fight the emotions off of her face, but we both know that when we are together, that is definitely not true. So instead, I try to make up an excuse, so I can sneak out, "I am a little hungry", I admit, I really hope this will get her to leave the tent for a minute.

"Very well, I will find us some breakfast", she walks over to me and carefully pushes me back on the bed, making sure I am sitting down. "I will not be long", she says with a smile, and quickly walks out of the tent. I am so dead when she finds out but I refuse to be carried everywhere.

I slowly lift myself to my feet and limp over to peek outside of the tent, she has her back turned and is walking in the opposite direction so I quickly rush out of the tent and practically hop to my own. I need to be quick. I strip off my soaking clothes, and change into clean ones, grabbing my swords and a couple of daggers and strapping them to my body. I peak out of my tent to see Lexa just entering hers, shit I need to hurry. I basically leap out of my tent and attempt running towards the woods. It's not that I want to be away from Lexa, but after everything I told her last night, I'm terrified to find out what she is thinking. I quickly make it to the treeline and begin to relax, knowing I had gotten away with it, until........I feel my whole body being lifted effortlessly off of the ground, and begin to scream, but that is quickly stopped my a soft hand covering my mouth and I flutter my eyes open to see those familiar green ones, though right now it seems as though there is a fire in them, just waiting to be set free. Fuck.

I expected her to turn back towards TonDC, but instead she continues walking through the trees her eyes set straight in front of us with me still in her arms.

"Lexa?" She doesn't even glance in my direction, "I'm sorry, I-". Still no reaction, I really messed up this time so instead I close my eyes, and wait to see where she is taking me, knowing that my words will only anger her more.

After about ten minutes we finally arrive at a clearing, trees are completely surrounding us but just at the other side is a waterfall, with water crashing into what seems like a small gorge, it looks so beautiful. Lexa walks straight towards it and quickly lowers me down onto a large rock just next to the water, and stands back up, her terrifying glare fixed on me.

"What the hell were you thinking Clarke?!"
