I'm sat waiting in the coffee shop. Lola should be here soon. Jake came over with my peach iced tea and placed it in front of me.

"Thank you Jake. Hey I want to ask you a question about what I missed" I say as I gesture for him to sit opposite me.

"Sure thing. I'm the one who sees everything here" he says sitting down with a smile at me.

"Did anything happen between Lola and Regina here while I was gone. Yesterday the tension wasn't the same as it was before. it was worse" I asked curiously at him since I really need to know this.

"Wait you don't know? I would have thought she told you" Jake replied looking confused at me.

"Told me what? What happened" I quickly asked.

"They had a huge fight. Like physical fight. The whole town saw it since it was during one of Regina's town meetings. Lola stumbles in drunk and started swearing at her. She was blaming Regina for the wedding not happening" he explained as he sat forward excited about telling the story.

"She blames Regina? I left the wedding on my own" I replied now confused at Lola's reaction.

"I know it was crazy. Anyway Regina stayed calm and tried explaining everything. Lola got onto the stage still shouting at her. Regina gets up to show her off but ends up getting punched in the face"

"Lola punched her" I quickly cut in shocked at what he said.

"Ow that's nothing. Regina went absolutely mental at her. They started punching each other and full on fighting. Before anyone could stop it Regina took her to the floor and broke her nose. No one has fucked with the mayor since that day. No one except Lola" he says finishing his story making me shocked.

"They seriously had a huge fight in front of everybody? Did it ever happen again" I asked sitting forward still shocked.

"Not that I'm aware of. They argue in the street a lot but I don't think anyone has seen a fight from them since that day" he replied with a shrug.

"Wow... she broke Lola's nose. That's actually pretty funny" I say shocked but laughing at the same time.

"Sorry I'm late Emma" Lola says as she walked over to my table.

"It's cool. Thanks for the talk Jake. I'll talk to you later" I say as I looked over at Jake.

"No problem em. Catch you later" he replied as he stood up.

I waved him goodbye and looked at Lola. I offered her the seat and she sat down smiling.

"So what did you want to talk about" I asked now only looking at her nose to see if it's moved.

"About the wedding. Why did you leave? I had my suspicions but I want to know the truth" she asked as she reach out to grab my hand.

"I know your suspicions. I heard what you did" I replied looking at her a little awkwardly.

"I thought you would. I was drunk em and she had said something to me before the wedding which scared me" Lola replied as she put her hands over her face and sighed.

"What did she say" I asked thinking about the talk I overheard them having.

"It was the day before our wedding" Lola replied now looking up at me. Ok so it's not that conversation I heard. "I was walking home when I bumped into her. She looked awkwardly at me and wished me a good wedding a little grumpy" she continued as she went off in the memory.

"Why did her wishing you a good wedding scare you" I asked looking confused at her now.

"Let me finish. I thanked her a bit snappy and snap back. We argued a little and she let it slip she is in love with you" Lola says looking a little awkward at me.

"She did" I asked knowing Regina had feelings for me back then.

"Yeah. When i questioned it she actually said these words. I'm completely and utterly in love with Emma and I think I will be forever since she's my true love. She then said goodbye and ran off before I could speak. She told me how much she loved you so when you left the wedding I assumed she told you" Lola admits now looking me back in the eyes.

"No she didn't. When I came back here she told me she use to have feelings for me but I didn't know I was her true love" I replied thinking about what Regina had said to me.

"Now it's your turn. Why did you leave? Why didn't you say I do" Lola asked as she leaned forward and held my hand.

"I couldn't do it. I loved you but not enough to marry you. I had feeling for" I start to reply.

"Had feelings for Regina. I know. You still do don't you" she cuts in looking a little upset.

"Why does it matter? She's married and we're good friends now" I say not wanting to tell her.

"So you do? I knew it. You left me for her didn't you" Lola asked now looking very annoyed at me.

"No I left because I didn't love you"

"No because you love her. Why don't you just go tell her? Break up another marriage" Lola growled cutting in.

"Don't start. I'm not telling her anything because it's not true. Freddie's dad is back in town and I'm meeting up with him. Lola what are you trying to get out of this" I asked knowing her tactics.

"I want you to admit it. Tell me the truth why you left me at the alter" Lola snapped looking annoyed at me.

"Because I was in love with Regina" I snapped not realising what I just said.

"I knew it. You didn't just have feelings for her. You loved her" Lola says looking a little shocked at me.

"Fine yes. I was in love with her. I left to go tell her how I felt" I admit looking down at the table embarrassed.

I then felt a sharp slap across my face. I looked up to see her looking angry. She stood up and grabbed her bags.

"I hope she breaks your heart" Lola growled before storming out of the coffee shop.
