Back to Emma's pro

It's been a few hours of me and Regina partying and having fun. I didn't ask her if the kiss worked or not. I couldn't. She would never tell me the truth sober. If it worked then she would have said it confidently but she didn't. I don't think it worked. Me and Regina are both pretty drunk. Her more than me.

"Emma lets get a drink" Regina shouts over the music.

"Sure" I replied as I grabbed her hand.

We pushed through the crowd of dancing people and to the bar. Regina was trying to get the guys attention but so were lots of other people.

"God how long does it take him" she sighed as she stood up straight from the bar.

"Emma swan" some guy said tapping my shoulder.

"Yeah" I asked turning around. I saw who it was. Fredrick. The man who ran off and left me. I looked shocked at him. I haven't seen him in 13 years. "You? What are you doing here" I asked not knowing what to say or do.

"Emma who is this" Regina asked looking round at him confused.

"Fredrick Gellar" he says holding his hand out to her.

"The Fredrick Gellar. The one who got you pregnant and then left" Regina asked looking annoyed at him as she knew exactly who it was.

"Yep" I replied still looking shocked and still a bit speechless. Fredrick moves his hand down since Regina was obviously not shaking it. "What are you doing here" I asked finally knowing what to say.

"I'm back in town for work. I saw you and thought I'd come say hi" he says smiling at me.

"Well hi I guess. This is Regina by the way. A friend of mine" I replied still not sure what I'm supposed to be saying.

"Hi Regina" he says once again holding his hand out.

"You can call me madam mayor. Not Regina" she says looking annoyed at him.

"Ooo someone's in a mood" Fredrick says laughing at Regina.

"Are you fucking kidding me? Who the fuck do you think you are" Regina snapped as she stepped closer to him.

"Gina chill" I say grabbing her hand and pulling her back. I looked back at Fredrick who was still laughing slightly. "Can you just leave us so we can finish our night" I say softly looking at my ex fiancé.

"You ain't married to her are you? I heard the mayor is a dirty homo and married to a woman but it can't be you since your straight. Right?" he says glancing in disgust at Regina quickly.

"Call me that again. I dare you" Regina says as she moved closer with her fist ready to punch.

I pulled her back to stop her. The mayor punching doesn't come off well. I turned around around and moved her closer to the bar.

"Order the drinks. I'll sort this out" I say quickly to her. I looked back at Fredrick who was a little surprised by Regina. "I'm not married to her. I'm straight remember? Don't be homophobic to her though. She won't tolerate it" I say softly to him as I placed my hand subconsciously on his shoulder.

"I won't say anything to her but I don't accept that stupid lifestyle. She is one of those dirty" he starts.

"Go on. Say it. I can still hear you" Regina cuts in over her shoulder.

"I have to go anyway Emma. Call me Alright" Fredrick says handing me a card.

"I will. Goodbye" I replied as I took the card. I turned around and Regina took the car from my hand. "Hey" I say trying to get it back.

"Really? Your going to call a man who ran out on you when heavily pregnant and just called gay people dirty homos? Ow and why does he think your straight" Regina says looking annoyed and protective of me.

"I'm going to call him to talk about what happened. At the end of the day he's Freddie's dad. Also he thinks I'm straight because he hates anyone who's LGBTQ so I told him I was straight" I replied trying to make sure I answered both her questions clearly.

"That's insane. He's a fucking asshole and hurt you. Don't do anything stupid" Regina says looking at me like I'm crazy.

"I won't" I replied with a slight sigh.

"Miss me bitches" A girl said behind me.

Me and Regina looked round to see Lola stood there. She smiled at me and then at Regina. I didn't want to see her today. Not now. Not ever to be fair.

"For fuck sake" Regina sighed as she rested her head on my shoulder.

"Hey Lola. How have you been" I asked awkwardly so I'm not coming off rude.

"Good thanks. I want to talk to you. Will you meet me tomorrow" Lola asked as she reached out to hold my hand.

"What is it with your ex's being here and wanting to meet up with you" Regina asked looking very confused at me.

"Somebody's jealous" Lola says smirking across at her. Regina glared at her and turned back around to the bar. "Well"

"Fine. I'll meet you tomorrow at 2. It will have to be quick because Freddie and I are meant to be having coffee then after he gets back from meeting his friends. The coffee shop. Don't be late" I say not knowing really what to say.

"Great. I feel we should talk about what happened" she says smiling sweetly at me.

Before I could talk she quickly kissed me. I looked shocked. She then walked away fast and I just stood there.

"Well she's missed you" Regina says sounding pissed.

"Ugh why do my ex's keep turning up" I sighed as I leaned against the bar.

"Well I don't mind as long as you dated Julia Roberts" Regina says before she started to laugh.

"I wish" I replied with a chuckle.

"What can I get you girls" the barman says finally.

"Same as before. Keep them coming" Regina says looking over at the man.

"So was Lola right? Is somebody jealous about my ex's" I asked smirking across at her.

"Emma" Regina says with a sarcastic gasp making me laugh. "How could you? I'm a married woman" she says making me laugh even more.

She sounded as if she's joking which was what made me laugh. What she said unfortunately was true. Regina smirked up at me and winked. There is something going on around here that I don't know. I will get it out of her somehow sooner than later. Me and Regina just kept drinking and dancing to enjoy our night. I ended up not asking her the question. It won't make any difference what the answer is. I'll figure this out.
