They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
Which honestly sounds like a lot until you realize that for us, that's a single conversation.
Your tongue had the words,
my ears the picture frames
and my mind is littered with your photographs
but for some reason I couldn't quite capture the final goodbye.
I can never quite bring it into focus.
I guess goodbyes just aren't that photogenic.
