Like every story ours starts from the moment when we first met
The first time my eyes first met yours in a silent interchange of wordless signals
When your smile first changed the frequency of my heart beatMaking it louder.. Faster.. Sending a steady transmission of chills down my spine.
It would start to slowly pick up from the moment your fingers first sealed the spaces between mine so perfectly it was almost as though it was what they were created to do
The moment when missing you become a permanent part of my day,
And being with you would make my dayWhen each minute with you started to feel fragile with the knowledge that any moment time would steal you away from me
Then I'd have to miss you all over again
Until I finally get to see you again.
Our story would slow down to the moments when my name first left the safety of your lips to settle in the canyon of my eardrums lost in the endless sea of syllables
Syllables I have collected from every conversation we've had
The place I drown myself in whenever you are not around
I'd sneak in some of the words I've chosen to leave unsaid and hope you come cross them when you take a stroll down memory lane because you find yourself missing me
And hopefully when you find them they'll draw you closer to me
See the only draw back of this little story of ours is that there is no real way of knowing how it ends
There is no way of knowing where it all goes from here
But so long as I get to spend even a tiny fraction of it by your side I'd be okay
Because see though we may not be Romeo and Juliet we however have something they did not
Something real.... A story not bound to the pages of a book
We have each other in a way they never could.
