It was with wide eyes searching you opened the door to the community washing rooms. If it wasn't for the facts the lights were still bright from inside and clean white, you wouldn't have been able to find it.

You weren't even sure if it was open or not or if it needed a key. Every little aspect of this adventure was made out of spontaneously decisions.

It was happening so fast you were almost ready to drop all the things in your small embrace.

The lights weren't less bright once you stepped into the room. The sounds of no machines running was your cause of sigh of relief. It was something you had sincerely feared and to get the theory tested paid off to your satisfaction.

You stood frozen for a second trying to figure out what to do. This was what you had thought about for hours now, it was the only reason why you were still up after midnight.

To finally get your clothes washed.

The big question was. How did you manage to go three weeks without doing a single thing?

It had been repeated in your mind several times, but each time you couldn't come up with a proper answer. You had literally just been using every single clothing you had brought along for college. Even all the socks that seemed to have a countless number.

You weren't even sure if you had worn the same thing twice, everything looked the same. The pile on the floor was created because your chair in your dorm had been filled to the top.

You couldn't even see the beige pillows your family had bought for you as a welcome to college present. It was all hidden in a pile of dirty mess.

Another question was, why did you wait so long until finally doing something about it? You had considered just doing it in the small wash you had in your bathroom but truth was, it wouldn't last for four years.

You had to visit the community laundry for once, and today had to be it. You were too tired to try searching for clothes that didn't exist in your drawers anymore.

Not to mention it was kind of embarrassing inviting new people over because they would see the mess you just couldn't stop. It was like no matter what you did the pile just grew bigger.

Skipping the many excuses and getting to the truth immediately.

You had no idea how you washed your clothes.

Or more likely you had seen your family members to it plenty of times. Even being the one to dedicate yourself to hang the many panties onto the drying rack when you were little to already show a bit of independence.
