Finally Mine- Maven

The little lightning girl, sits in the back of my blackrun, I know it hurts her. She got newbloods in a jet just like it. I have to think of my to-do list of Norta to keep from laughing.

"I hope you know," Mare bites. A crooked smile splitting her lips. "This isn't love!" She then growls, trying to use her powers to shut down the jet. A silent stone cage surrounds her, making her useless. I bark out a laugh, "Love? Barrow. Please, I don't love you," I smirk. I try really hard to keep my mask from slipping. She can't know I am lying.

We finally arrive at Whitefire. Merandus blue still coats the inside of my palace. I haven't had the will to cover it up. Mare sees my mask fall for a second and her lips curl into an evil grin. While she enjoys my pain, I dont enjoy hers.

Arven guards flank Mare, but their ability is so well trained, I feel the sickness of it. Evangeline walks at my left, a silver knife in a world of fire. Her whore stands by her, keeping her existence secret with her ability. Evangeline always keeps Elane near, just so she can get my secrets. Poor her, She'll never learn them.

"High Houses of Norta! Welcome." Evangeline smiles. A rare act. A court meeting was set, just for Mare. "We have contained a murderer, a terrorist, a newblood." She continues on, I know Mare is just outside of the door ready to come out. "Mare Barrow," She bares her teeth, acting like her name is poison. I rise from my throne, staring at the doors.

The court agrees to kill the lightning girl, but I don't have it in my heart. I stare at the girl, knees on the cold ground, hair in knots and a dirty white gown, no jewels or silk. "We could use her," My cousin, Samson pipes in. He read my god damn mind.
"Maven could Marry her, she could make the rebellion stop." Everybody gasps in surprise, groans and disgust across the room.
