I haven't felt okay in awhile. I can't find my happiness. It's weird, since Maven and the kids brought me so much but then it happened. I try everyday to feel better but of course that never works. I try things that once made me happy but those only bring tears.

I wall down to the royal graves, where Shade is buried. I lay my head down so the top of my head is barley touching the gravestone. I look up at the perfect sky, blue and gorgeous I sun hiding behind a few puffy clouds. I breathe in and out, slowly. I start to feel calm, something I haven't felt even before we lost the baby.

I lay in the exact spot for what seems like days, but really it was two hours. Guards come rushing down the steps, when they stop at the bottom their expressions are scared.
"Queen Mare!" A quard, named Asi blurts.
I raise an eyebrow in confusion, standing.
"Yes, General?"
"We've been looking for you! We thought you ran off."
"No General, I'm just visiting my brother."
"I'm so sorry to disturb, Your Majesty!" He cowards.
"No problem General Asi, I was just about to go train as you came down," I soften, seeing how scared he became. He nods and let's me walk.

I walk into the locker room area we have outside of the training room. I see Evangeline and her brother standing in the training room, discussing something. I throw on leggings and a black shirt lined purple on my sides.

"Lady Evangeline? Lord Ptolemus? Is everything okay?"
Their expressions change rapidly, softening to a comforting and sympathetic look.
"Oh nothing, Your Majesty." Ptolemus says, leaving the room with a swift move.
"Eve? What was that about?" I say, sitting down on a bench lining the rooms walls.

"I want to be Queen of the rift, with Elaine, but Tolly doesnt want me to,"
"Well why not? You and Elaine are married."
"He doesnt want me to be a Queen, I don't know why and that's what's making me angry," She growls throwing silver daggers into the wall across the room. She walks out on me, her powers dissolving making the daggers fall to the floor.

I aim my lighting at a target and dont stop pumping out electricity. A constant stream as the target moves. I twist and move it till it makes a hurricane. The air force makes it hard to stand, but I withhold. I push the hurricane across the room and watch it dissolve as I let go of my power.

I sit down on a bench. I havent used my powers in so long my breath runs out quick. I hear Valerie's little steps run into the room, the floor and walks making the noise echo. "Mom!" She smiles.
"Hi baby," I smile, drenched in sweat.
"What were you practicing mom?" She asks.
I create a miniature hurricane in my hand. "This,"
She smiles brightly, poking the swirl of lighting making it red! I smile happily, she got her color! It used to be pink, but she knew it wasnt hers.

I change and go straight to my room. I'm so tired recently, I just want to sleep. I lay in the comfort of soft sheets and fuzzy blankets, and only a few minutes later my husband crawls into bed and cuddles me.
