"Mama!!" Elayna giggles running up to me.
"Hey baby girl!!" I smile, picking her up. Maven comes walking with Valerie and Thomas holding his hands.
"They just had some practice with abilities," Mavey smiles.
He found out Valerie has her mom's and dad's powers. Thomas is only a burner though.
"How'd they do?"
"Cal said perfect," He says before kissing me.
Were holding a ball tonight for the Twins birthday! They wanted their theme to be fire, as they have that in common. So, I dressed in my gown that looks like liquid fire. An orange to red ombre with a slit on the leg. I paired it with with black heels, a necklace matching my wedding ring and black earrings. I put my hair into a french braid flower and head down.
Maven meets me with his regular suit, but his cape that has a fire pattern. "You look ravishing Babe," Maven smiles. I see those beautiful blue eyes staring down at me. "God I love you!" I smile so wide and kiss him on the cheek. "Me too," He whispers as we walk into the ball. The kids are already at the table waiting.
"Hey kiddos! Happy birthday!" Maven exclaims, picking up Valerie and spins her around. Then doing the same to Thomas. I'm so excited, yet so nervous. My babies are 8 years old!!
"I can't believe their 8 Maven." I sigh, watching them try to dance on the ball room floor.
"I don't like it," He puffs.
"I'm excited to see who we raised dear," I smile thinking of the unlimited ways my children's future would go.
