Maven and Cal went to Montfort to do some business deal. They decided to leave me behind. I need time with Gisa though, so good timing.
"Gisa!!" I squeal, running up to her. We met down in the shops. Mom took the kids so we could have a sister day. "Mare!" She smiles as we hug. "So, how's the whole trying to get pregnant again thing going?" She softens. "I'm supposed to take a test today cause yesterday is when I should have started." Gisa smiles and grabs me. We run to the infirmary out of the castle. "Queen Mare! Lady Gisa, what a lovely day to see you!" The man smiles. "Good morning sir, do you think I could have a pregnancy test done today?" I crook a smile. He nods and takes me back to a room immediately. We take the test and Gisa and I wait. "What if I'm not?" I look up at her. "Then it'll be okay. You are still young sis," She smiles as the doctor comes in. She smiles.
"Your pregnant!" She gushes. I cry, Gisa looks ecstatic. I cry tears of joy, knowing I can have the family I want. We leave and go to home. I'm only a couple weeks in, so we don't tell anyone.
Valerie runs up to me when we get home. "Hi dearest! How was your day with grammy?" I smile, holding her hand as we walk. "It was good! Thomas tried to set a stick on fire and I did what you do mommy!" She smiles. "What do you mean baby?"
"I sent lighting in the sky! It was pink!" We both smile, I'm so proud of my babies.
Maven got home late, so I was already asleep. "Hey hunny," he whispers, waking me up. "Hi baby," I smile. "How was your day without me?"
"Gisa and I figured out something," I say as I fall back asleep.
Elayna wakes me up in the morning.
"Morning mommy!!"
She lays on my stomach. "Baby, go get your daddy," I smile and get up. She jumps on Maven and wakes him up. I get in the shower. When I get out, Maven is dressed and Playing with the kids. I lean on the doorway. Our family is almost complete. I smile down at my still flat belly. Will the baby be a boy or a girl?
"Alright, Thomas go ahead and bring Elayna to breakfast, Valerie make sure he doesn't get lost." Maven jokes the kids run off and giggle.
"So what was the thing Gisa and you found out?" He questions. "Uh, well. I can't," I stutter. He grabs my hands. "Baby, I promise it's okay." He softens and kisses my forehead. "I'm, well, I'm preg-" Before I finish my sentence he squeals. "Your joking?! Yes! Yes!" He jumps in excitement. I smile wide.
"I literally found out yesterday so you and Gisa are the only ones that know," I sigh. "Don't tell anyone!" I smile
