Sonic POV. 

They mayor called tails and me to his office in the afternoon and I was honestly more focused on the phantom thief but tails insisted we go. So now we were in his office staring down the mayor. "Hello I understand you nearly had that horrible glutton in your hands, how about you share anything you know with your good buddy the mayor?" The mayor gave a big hopeful smile. This guy has no idea what their capable of does he? Before I could say anything tails beats me to it. "All we know is that he is fast and able to take out knuckles and Amy as if they were nothing." Tails lied to him? I know he's a fan but that's not like him. The mayor sighs.

"Very well, give your friends my regards and good luck with catching him." The mayor said waving his hand dismissively. After that some suits escort us out of the building and were left in the street. "You lied to him back there tails what's up?" He starts walking and I follow him. "I really don't trust that guy he's hiding something." That was easy to agree with the guy practically screams secrets. "Lets go visit Amy and knuckles." He nods and we run off.

Meanwhile in another time but not so far away a certain hedgehog laid relaxing.

I sat sat under a tree watching the birds sing and flowers bloom. It was a great day to be alive. That's when a light appeared from the sky and purple cat fell from the sky along with the some shiny rocks. Naturally I was curious and worried so I ran over to help. "Hey are you alright?!" I leaned down and helped her up but she pushed me away. "Who are you"? She asked it like I was a threat. "I'm the silver hedgehog." I said honestly. She eyed me warily. "Where am I"? She's definitely not from around here. "West Point the city of the great." She stays silent. Maybe she's shy? "Err how about I show you around?" She hesitates then nods. "my name is blaze the cat, a pleasure to meet you." I fly up with my psychokinesis which seemed to surprise her. "You can't fly"? She shakes her head no. Definitely not from around here.

"Hold still". I grab her with it and she struggles like her life was in danger and I laugh. "It's no use if you don't have it like me." She calms down immediately trying to play it off. I roll my eyes and fly with her. Those emeralds she had I wonder what they are for? She sees me eyeing them and she quickly puts them away and turns her head.

I took her to the city and landed on the side walk. "This has been a major city for centuries. It's also the place I call home." She looks around in wonder. I chuckle and she quickly puts her serious face on. "Thank you for showing me around but I need to go the sol emeralds brought me here for a reason."those must be the gems she has. "Are they anything like the chaos emeralds?" She seems confused. "Chaos emeralds, silver"? I'm going to need to explain a lot to her. After about ten minuets of doing so she nods. "Then they are very similar. I'm guardian of the sol emeralds and a princess." I was shocked. "A princess?!" Others started to look at her and she avoided their eyes And covered my mouth. "Please do not call me that again." She let go.

"I'm sorry I shouted." I rub the back of my head. She sighed. "I'm used to it". Suddenly an alarm rings and a couple of guys run out of a convenience store. "Stop thieves!" Cries the shop owner. "We have to stop them"! Before she could answer I ran after them. "stop you crooks!" She didn't even question it as she followed my lead. as I was about to catch up to them she jumps over my head and spins in the air. my jaw drops as she is surrounded by fire as she spin kicks both of the guys on the ground.

they both lay there with burn marks as I run up. "that was amazing blaze! how did you do that?" she grabbed her right arm and looked down. before she can answer one of the crooks pulls a gun and fires at her but I use my psychokinesis to send it back at his weapon. "don't you dare try and hurt my friend!" blaze seemed a little taken aback by this. "I'm your friend?" I turn around and give her the are you stupid look. "well duh!" I giver her a big smile.
