"Okay, class!", Ma'am Katya addressed them all just as the bell rang for first period. "Just so you know, we'll be having our First Friday Mass this friday!"
"ALREADY!?"
Hans sweatdropped as the class screamed incredulously.
To be fair, it had literally been just the start of the year. Yesterday was the first day of the school, and there was a lot that had happened.
Secrets were revealed, and while it made his relationship with some of his classmates stronger, it was certainly scary.
At least it lessened a certain person's burden, though!
Speaking of which...
Turning to the side, Hans made eye contact with Clark Perez a few seats away. The latter gave him a cheerful smile, before turning away and continuing to scream with the rest of the class.
He was really glad that Clark's his friend now. He's really fun!
"Quiet down, please!", Ma'am Katya waved her hand. Miraculously, everyone went silent.
"Thank you", she smiled, before continuing. "Now, as required, we would need to donate something to charity and help those that are casted out by the rest of the world. After all, even if they're reincarnation of villains and evil henchmen, it doesn't mean that we can't treat them like people!"
"The rest of society doesn't think that way, though", Leilani Valenciano pointed out, sweatdropping.
"Well, yes", Ma'am Katya nodded. "But that doesn't mean that we can't make a difference, too, right?"
Both nods of agreements and eyebrow furrowings of doubt were seen as their responses to her question. Hans winced.
When all the people remembered their past lives, they all discovered that most of the ones that had done society a great service in the past grew up in the lowest of the low.
So, as a result, the government and the people worked hard to raise them up to be one of the top, since they really deserve it.
However, a lot of people discovered that the world's most notorious villains has their reincarnations in power. Hitler's reincarnation was the President of the United States, too.
So, the whole world worked together to take them down to the very low and make sure they stay there. That's what they deserve, after all.
Or so they thought.
It was still a great injustice to do this to every bad guy's reincarnation, especially since majority of the people is not their past self at all.
Take Hans, for example. He's the reincarnation of the Apostle Peter who was the first Archbishop of the church.
However, he couldn't even speak in front properly. He completely lacks confidence, and that's a big difference to his past self.
So, it really isn't fair, right?
The school was doing everything they can to at least make the victims of this inequity to live comfortably, but it wasn't really working.
They were the outcasts. People will forever be wary of them. End of story.
"Now, all of us are assigned to give something in each grade", Ma'am Katya stated as she handed out letters to all of them. "For grade 8, you'll need to give out school supplies; notebooks, pencils, or other materials the kids can use!"
"Cool!", Florence Ramirez cheered as she got her own letter. "I have, like, at least 20 notebooks at home!"
"Why would you have that many notebooks, though?", Sonaya Tirmizi tilted her head.
