Turns out, everything isn't as they seem to be.

Bea wasn't killed. Instead, she had committed suicide.

Several students saw her jump off the rails of the fourth floor, fell towards the quadrangle, and broke her neck in impact.

Now, why would she do this?

Why, indeed. Joyce had pondered this thought ever since she came home from school.

After all, there were no classes tomorrow, since it was a Friday. So, at least they could take a break from all this...insanity.

Burying her face in her pillow as she lied on her bed in her pajamas, Joyce repeated the question in her head over and over again. Why?

Why should her class, out of all the honors class in all the grade levels, be the victims of this killing game?

Why did this happen in the first place?

Just then, she stopped at that idea. Why did this really happen in the first place?

Recalling back to the very first murder, they'd come to the conclusion that the reason Alex was killed was because she found out about something she shouldn't have.

And because they had all took the liberty of making the case their own for their classmate, all of Palliola became subjects to this splatter party.

Slowly, Joyce rose up. What, exactly, is the thing Alex found out that ended up killing her?

If she could recall correctly, the statue of Athena was missing in the crime scene. No other thing had been ruled out as missing after that, so everyone else had ruled it out as coincidence.

But it wasn't a coincidence. Joyce had a feeling that it was just as important to the whole case as the murders and the necklace.

So, what really is it for? Why did this mastermind take this? And why slowly kill off everyone involved instead of just making them all stop existing, like what happened in Infinity War and Endgame?

Ring...ring...

Unexpectedly, her phone rang nearby.

Joyce blinked. Who could that be?

She hurriedly got out of bed, and answered the call.

Turns out, it was Moselle. "Hey, Joyce. How're you holding up?"

Joyce took a second to consider, before replying while taking out a hairtie from the drawer near their family portrait and tying up her long hair. "I...honestly don't know. I guess I'm still...just okay? A-anyway, what about you?"

"I'm trying to comprehend everything, I guess. Everything's just happening all at once", Moselle gave out a watery laugh. "At least the school agreed to let us all take individual counselling sessions starting this Monday, huh?"

Joyce nodded; it was the one thing the school did responsibly for them for once. "Yeah... we don't want to fall behind on our grades and everything, since we're still technically the honors' class of our grade."

"Pfft--with all that's happening right now? I don't think anyone would choose to uphold grades more than trying to stay alive."

Joyce giggled at that. "I guess not."

"But, hey, the class had planned to go to an arcade to let loose a little tomorrow", Moselle spoke, albeit eagerly. "Want to come?"
