First thing in the next morning, Florence announced to both Sandy and Ysa once they showed up for class. "Guys, I think I have a bad idea."
Luckily, they were the very first ones there, so nobody else could eavesdrop on them yet. Whether that meant good luck or bad luck is yet to be discovered.
Sandy blinked, before she slowly spoke. "What...kind of bad idea?"
Ysa frowned. "I would prefer a good idea."
The other two sweatdropped at her response, before Florence continued as they walked towards Ysa's desk. "Remember last year, with all the CCTV cameras installed, but wasn't activated yet?"
Sandy smiled nervously. "K-kind of hard n-not to; they're everywhere, after all."
Florence nodded, before she bit her lip for a second. I just hope they won't think I'm insane for this...
"Okay, so they probably haven't told us, but they're bound to have activated the cameras already ever since the school year started", she continued. "Think about it; how else would the whole faculty know about Alex's death before we do? They must have the footage of it stored somewhere or..."
The reincarnation of Isaiah trailed off when she saw the reincarnation of Primo Michele Levi writing notes on an air notepad using an air pencil.
"Continue, Ma'am Ramirez!", Ysa gave a thumbs up. "I want to get a perfect score on the test!"
Sandy and Florence snorted, before all three of them laughed out loud as they almost fell over from their spot.
"B-but seriously...", Sandy managed to calm down and kill her smile first. "You're saying that we can identify the killer's identity if we can see the footage of the murder happening?"
Florence's smile widened as she nodded earnestly. "Yep! This is the most effective idea I could think of, since there are many holes in the mystery we have at hand..."
"That is...", Ysa frowned as she looked down, thinking it over. "Technically an idea, yeah. I'm not saying it's a good one, or a bad one, though, but..."
"How are you even going to get ahold of it?", Sandy finished, frowning.
Good question, Florence sweatdropped.
Just then, Joyce came in the room while carrying her bag. She saw the three of them and grinned. "Hey! You're the first ones here?"
Ysa nodded as the other two waved at the newcomer. "Yep."
"Cool, cool", Joyce shrugged, before walking towards them. "So, what are you all up to?"
"Uh, well", Sandy sweatdropped. "W-we were just talking about--"
"Oranges", Florence stated the first thing that came to mind.
Ysa and Sandy stared at her incredulously. Florence just gave them a helpless, apologetic stare while shrugging.
"Oranges", Joyce blinked. "Okay, then. So, are oranges oranges because orange is named after orange? Or are oranges oranges because oranges are orange?"
The three of them blinked.
Finally, Ysa snorted. "D-dude, they're just o-oranges!"
Joyce raised an eyebrow. "Then, why were you talking about them?"
The four of them looked at each other for a second as they all fell silent. Then, they bursted out laughing hysterically.
At one point, Florence and Ysa fell over Sandy and the reincarnarion of Amelia Earhart did her best to prevent them from falling to the floor, all the while trying her best to prevent herself to fall from laughing too hard, too.
