Caleb P.O.V.

"I can't wait to skinny dip on this private estate with you," Veronica said as she ran her hand down my arm.

"I can't wait either baby," I said.

"I also can't wait until we have our own little one," she said as she looked over at my sleeping daughter.

"I told you we'd see about that," I said.

"Caleb what do you mean we'll see about it? I want a child with my husband," Veronica said.

"When I become your husband we can re-discuss this. But for now I don't think we should think about having any kids... at least not any time soon," I said.

"Caleb you're turning forty and I'm already mid thirties! I should have been had a child by now," Veronica said.

"I thought you were ok with not having any kids biologically?" I questioned.

"I was... But that was before we fell in love and got engaged. Plus seeing you as a father to Cecilia just makes me want to see you be a father to a child we create. Besides don't you want to try for a little boy? A son to inherit everything you've built," Veronica said.

"I don't need a son for that. My little angel is going to inherit everything I've worked hard to build," I said.

"Only her?" Veronica questioned.

"Baby you know she's the reason I bust my ass and work so hard. This is all for her. I want my little girl taken care of and to be able to do whatever she wants in life without the concern of worrying about money," I said.

"That's sweet of you but I don't think she should have everything. The child should work for something in life and not just have everything handed to her. I mean I had to work hard to get to where I am today. No one handed me what I wanted on a silver platter," Veronica said.

"I get that but life is hard enough. Trust me I just want the best for my child," I said.

"Our child... Caleb I'm going to be her step mother and I feel my input on how she is raised should be important to you," Veronica said.

"Where is this coming from? Your input is important," I said.

"Is it really because it seems like the big decisions about her are made by just you and Zoey... I'm never even brought into the conversation. I think I should be since I'm going to be your wife," Veronica said.

"I didn't realize you felt that way. Your input is important to me. I want you involved in the decision making of Cecilia's upbringing," I said.

"Good. I'm glad we're a team," Veronica said.

I smiled and kissed her forehead as she rested her head on my shoulder.

I scrolled through the front page news stories on yahoo's homepage and was shocked when I saw a breaking story.

NBA superstar K.J. Sawyer caught leaving hotel with urban model.

I read through the gossip article and saw the photos of K.J. kissing this model at a nightclub and going into a hotel with her and leaving with her.

"Fucking asshole!" I said angrily.

"What's got you all heated," Veronica asked.

I passed my ipad to her and put my head in my hands.

"I knew he couldn't be trusted! Fucking prick is cheating on Zoey!" I said angrily.

"You don't know that," Veronica said.
