"Sorry, what did you say the plan was again?" Daniel laughs and implores for me to repeat my so called plan once more. I hadn't woken as late as I went to sleep, so that was good. Daniel had woken me up anyway, pleading to bring us to some well known restaurant.

"Well if you were paying some attention, you'd know that I really really want to explore," I started. I wasn't down in this beautiful city for nothing. Besides, with my camera in my jacket's pocket, I wasn't going to waste the hassle of bringing it down. "Alone," I tell them, causing Sophie to shut right up.

"Like, guys, I'm pretty sure I'm hanging out with Luca today. And if you're disgusted of the gushy lovey stuff, then I highly recommend you don't tag along," I mumble with my mouth full. I wasn't too good with all the manners.

Daniel chuckles as his ears turn red due to the fact he's acknowledged of what the lovey gushy stuff is and where it takes place. "Gotcha, so I'll stay with Sophie and she can sleep in my room then?" He questioned as I nodded.

"So it's settled," I say quietly with a dimpled smile growing. I snatch my camera and wave a quick goodbye after hurriedly swallowing down the last piece of bacon. I head out the restaurant's doors.

Not only was this city full of beauty, but beautiful people too. I didn't catch too many brunettes besides my family. I had a difficult time of what to take a picture of - and not because there wasn't anything. The problem was there was too much view and too little space on my camera.

I settled at a spot near a fountain, taking a seat I signed. The sun atop was beating down on me. I grab my phone and dial Luca's number quickly, noting myself to delete him from speed dial.

"Hello?" He answers, stuttering. "Baby who is-" I heard some female voice say before getting cut off by Luca, "shh."

Luca had to be about dumber than nails. In fact, he hadn't attended any periods in high school except one. Meaning, he's a dropout whom works for the local gas station in Toronto. Despite his filthy attitude, he holds extremely attractive looks. His hair is coloured light hazel and his eyes glow with shades of blue. His dimpled smile can get anyone weak in the knees, and his sexy smirk can have you fall. Behind the tall good looking boy was a rebellious bad boy whom hadn't spend a day in his life working, the exact reason my parents despised him. He was no good, only seeking trouble, and yet, I had loved him once.

"Uh, hey babe listen..." I said uneasily. I didn't exactly want to believe what I summed up, but by now I'd be stupid not to know what we're his reasons behind it all. I sign and continue to talk, "look, how about we hang out today. We haven't really done that in a while."

"Oh umm.. Yea sure I'll be there in a bit. Maybe around 12:00," he replied. He seemed out of breath, and I was certain he hadn't just ran a marathon.

I fiddle around with the strap of my camera, desperately avoiding to find the solution of everything. I didn't even want to think. "Just, uh, just meet by the fountain okay?"

"Yeah I got it," he ends the call. I knew this would probably be the last time I'd call him. Everything always ends so badly, and then again, if they didn't, nothing would end at all.

Time seemed to pass awfully slowly. With each passing minute I found myself getting bored. My camera's battery was near to its death so I shoved it back in my bag. It was only about ten past twelve yet I still gave Luca the opera unity to show up. I just had the present feeling that he would not be arriving at all.

Thirty minutes.

Possibly it's just traffic - wait what am I saying? The hotel is an estimated 10 minute walking distance, I say to myself. He was playing me like puddly in his hands. I was the brainless nail and he was the hammer, I was only bound to get hurt.
