William's POV
I felt somewhat accomplished of myself, to actually convince them that I wasn't some heartbreaking hockey player. Which I hoped I wasn't.
It all turned out better than I thought it would all unfold into, I seemed to be somewhat liked by everyone in the household. Although it was probably tough to trust a guy like me, so,e Swedish speaking hockey player. Not to mention bringing home their daughter with me (the new boyfriend) from vacation, now that was probably the hardest thing to process."You wanna head back now or in a bit?" Alyssa asked as she rolled up a sleeping bag. She signed with a small laugh, shaking her head. "I'm sorry, William. For you having to sleep on the ground in this sleeping bag. I mean my parents are strict when it comes to boys, they still like to baby me. But anyways it's their house, their rules."
It was true, the fact that I had to sleep in that dusty sleeping bag. Not that I didn't mind though, because for them to actually except me to be with their daughter ... Well I would do anything for that, I suppose that meant sleeping on the hard wood floor. Which was alright, considering the things I've slept on or in before.
Nothing I couldn't handle.
I chuckled as I made the bed. "It's fine really. As long as I'm accepted into this family of my lovely girlfriend's, then well I couldn't really ask for more."
I smiled, gazing into her daring light brown eyes, they told so much, if that makes sense. "We'll leave soon, I wanted to introduce you to some people."

*It was an overall great experience, meeting her family and parents. A few arguments here and there, nothing we couldn't fix or make up for though.

"Don't hurt her eh, she's been broken before. Broken easily, broken rapidly." He spoke patting me on the back. I smiled reassuring him, that I would truly never hurt her.
"I won't sir, I truly do love your daughter. The way other treated her isn't how I am or would do, I can reassure you I'm different""And with that I have faith in you William. Don't let me down, I believe and trust you, probably just as much as she does" he smiled as I packed up the last baggage.
I smiled at the simple memory early, before we were down the highway.
"You truly proved them wrong Will" Alyssa beamed, as the sun rays shone brightly through the windows, reflecting onto her highlighted hair.
I smiled at the nickname, focusing back to the road we drove down.
"I hope I did. But I just really want you to know, however horrible those past boys you've been with, I'm not like that" I signed. She nodded starring back out to the sunny view outside of her window. "I know, that's exactly what you proved my parents, myself too. You're just so different from them, from the rest"
But those encouraging words made me smile. Just two simple sentences can really make someone's day.
But the car was then left in silence, no radio, no words, no nothing. Just silence, peacefully yet nerve wracking, in ways that miraculously scared me.
"I mean it's crazy how fast things are moving..." She spoke out loud, finally breaking the horrid silence we faced.
"Yeah" I replied simply. I then realized what she was trying to speak or say. I was guessing that maybe she didn't like how fast things were going, maybe it reminded her of her past. Woman need respect, that's how they should all be treated, but some stupid fools think otherwise these days.
"Do you not like it?" I asked silently, watching her time to time peacefully place with the ends of her hair. She shrugged, not giving any sort of expression or eye contact.
