Fractured Heartstrings

Ch. 7

The trip came to a fast end, it was sadly my final day here in Sweden. I had spent everyday with William, we actually never left each other sides. Some days I spent with my siblings, or even Williams family. Others I just cuddled with William on the couch, or made out with him on the bed. Either way it sure was a blast.

"Baby, it's our last day" I groaned to William, not wanting this amazing trip to come to an end. We were sitting on a rack over the edge of a beach, showing the beautiful sun rise in Sweden. Yeah that's right, we pulled an all nighter.

"But hey, look at the bright side. You get to come and live with me" he smiled.

"Oh William..." I giggled at my handsome boyfriend's comment.

"Alyssa look at me, I'm not joking around. I seriously thought hard about it. It only makes sense if you came and lived with me, where else are you going to go!" He smiled reassuringly. Oh god how he offered more then he could promise...

"But Williammmmm" I groaned not wanting to except his offer, it was too much.

He chuckled after saying "Alyssaaaaaaaaa", I laughed and smacked him on the arm in a flirty way.

"I'm serious William" I giggled.

"Babe I am too, you're moving in with me and it's final" he grinned with his innocent eyes glowing and his flow showing.

I smiled cuddling into his muscular arm, "thanks Babe"

We starred out at the sunrise and smiled, happy that we had each other.

Then I thought, "why me?" I asked facing him. I was serious, dead serious. Out of everyone in the world, why me.

He was a young handsome hockey player, he could get any girl he could dream of - so why me.

"You're so gorgeous-" he started as he brushed his free hand through my knotted hair.

I turned back to the sun "How about when I'm no longer young and beautiful"

"Will you still love me?" I croaked the tears flowing in my eyes, bringing the past upon my present.

"I'll love you then, love you now, love you no matter what" he told me softly with his eyes beaming.

"Will you still love me when I got nothing but my aching soul?" I asked tracing circles on the cracked rock I currently sat on.

"Yes, oh baby I'll love you forever"

Oh but forever seemed so long, to risky of a thing to promise. How could one simply love me for eternity, they just simply couldn't. They all got tired of me and only used me for sex, like Luca and others. Or told me I was beautiful, but oh how they used me so harshly.

"They all used me William, hurt and destroyed me" I signed swinging my feet underneath and letting them dangle of the rocks, the rocks above the ocean.

"I'm not like them, I can promise you" he told me, another promise. Probably another gone and broken, they all promised - it was all the same. I was broken down and destroyed from my past.

"Prove it" I said looking straight into those killer blue eyes, begging yet unspoken.

"I will, oh Alyssa I will" he beamed bringing me up to my feet, taking my hands into his softly.

He smiled starring into my eyes, he kissed me hard. Passionately. I rubbed the side of his face as his hands crawled up my back holding me tightly. He was tightening his grip on me and pulled me closer, not breaking the kiss either.

It was almost as if he was preventing me from falling, but when it all started he was the one who caught me falling.

The sun shone brightly, our hair shining brightly as the sun officially rose. Maybe he could prove my theory wrong, prove to me that he really was different.
