Ch•24

As a couple days go by everything is back to normal I go to work and sal takes willow to school.
(They walk it's not that far of a walk.)
As I get home from a long day at work, Willow runs up to me and hugs me. I pick her up and ask her how her day was. She tells me that she learnt how to spell her name. I say that's nice and head to look for sal.
We eat dinner as always. I thank him for making it. He tells me he is glad to make dinner for his family.
A week passes and it's around thanksgiving.
We all agreed that we should have it at mine and sals place seeing we have the biggest place.
As I'm getting the table ready sal is making food and everyone is bringing their own dish.
"Sal who's all coming again." "Erm Ash Larry your mom my dad,Lisa Todd Neil and some of Ash's other friends and I think one of them has kid around willows age, I think the friends name were maple and chug and there kids name is soda" (dont hate me for not making them apart of the group.) "Okay umm.....I invited my father. I hope that's okay." Sal comes into the dining room and places his arms around my neck.
"Of course I'm glad that you and your father are getting along." He says kissing me. "Ewww get a room." I here willow say we laugh a bit "when is everyone going to get here." I ask "somewhere around 4:30 5:00pm." Sal says he goes back and he continued doing his own thing "hey little missy how about you go hang out in you room till everybody gets here." "Can I play in the backyard." "no you must stay inside or you'll be burnt to a crisp like a vampire!"
"Papa you're silly! I'm not a vampire!" 'I know that because vampires aren't TICKLISH!" "papa stop it!" iset her down and she runs away screaming going to the back yard.
"As we finished up I helped Sal put the food on the table accidentally rubbing my hand against the bakeware. "Ow! son of a bitch" I say holding my hand "what happened? are you okay?" Sal asks walk over to me
"Yeah I'm fine just burnt myself." "Go run it under cool water it should help."

I do as my companion says and run some water on it. I hear the front door open and I go see who walked in it was my mom and father "hi River hi Adam." Sal says waving to them "hi mom hi father." "Hi my sweetie how have you two been." "We're okay how about you guys." Sal says
"We have been getting better, I moved back in with your father and trying with are relationship." "I'm glad you guys made up, it's good to see my parents get along." I say walking up to mom giving her a hug.
"Everyone should be here any time now." Sal says just in time for people to start gathering in our house. Willow comes running inside pulling sal to the backyard. I followed them along with everyone else. She pulls him to a certain spot and moves around the bush showing a small bunny that looks hurt. "Daddy papa help it it's hurt!" She says picking up the hurt animal.
Sal looked at me and I just shrugged, not knowing what to do. Sal looks at willow and she hands him the animal.
"I'll see what I can do but don't get your hopes up."Sal says "Thank you da" she says hugging Sal.
As sal is doing whatever everyone sits down.
~sal's POV~
I'm able to fix most of the hurt bunny's wounds while getting worried looks from willow when he whimpers. As I finish up I tell her to keep a close eye on him. She tells me to hold on so she can make him a little bed out of one of her old purse things. I wait for a second and she comes back and has an adorable cross body purse with one of her favorite small doll blanket in it.
(Too see what kind of purse just google cross over purse for kids. Kids have such cute things when i was in elementary i had baggy clothes and things that would surely fall of of me.)
I carefully put the bunny in it and handed it to her. She keeps the top open.
"Hey sweetheart go wash your hands so we can go eat with the family."
"Okay daddy thank you for helping this guy.'' Willow says hugging me one last time before running off to clean her hands I do the same and walk back into the dining room.
I sit next to Travis and where Willow is going to sit when she comes back.
When she comes back I say we should go around the table and say what we all are grateful for. (This is something my fam does so yeah) as everyone goes their willows turn.
"Umm.....I'm grateful for my papa and daddy, I'm grateful for uncle Larry and auntie ash uncle Neil and uncle Todd grandpa Adam and grandma river grandpa and Lisa and this bunny and that I'm able to have a good life."
"This girl is just too adorable." Todd says we all shared a little laugh and dug into the food.

TODD POV
My heart is hurting from willow calling me one of her uncles I can't Handle the cuteness. I look over to Neil see a smile plastered on his face. I hold his hand under the table and eat my food.
Travis fathers POV
If this is what a family looks like I'm glad to be a part of it I look over at my son and his boyfriend. "Um sal can I ask you a question." He slipped down his mask and looked at me. "Yes?"
Third person POV
"When do you guys plan on getting married." Adam says
"FATHER!"Travis says "*GASP* ADAM!" River says "you don't have to answer that sweetie." River says
