Love Triangle | Taeyong/Jaehyun X Reader

Family time

In the morning your dad drove you to the nearest ranch so you two can ride horses together.

It was a nice trail ride through the woods. You were very glad to spend some quality time with your dad and experience horse riding.

You thought  how you could do this with Taeyong one day, that would be really interesting.

And probably super adorable, because he adores animals.

Every time  you thought about him, a sweet smile would appear on your face.

You and your dad came back home to have lunch with the rest of the family.

Your mom and your grandma were an excellent cooking duo.

After the traditional feast, you prepared to go to the beach. Excitment grew inside you because you missed the ocean and the smell of the salt brought by a light breeze.

Diving into the crystal water of the turquoise ocean, you felt the small bubbles of air gently caress your skin as they were making their way to the surface.

The water was so refreshing, like it washed all your problems away.

You managed to reach the bottom of  the sea and grabbed a purple-ish clam.

The fish around you swam away in fear but soon they came back to examine you.

After realising you weren't a threat, the fish calmly continued to swim and search for food around you.

You went back to the surface to get some air and then you dived in again to enjoy the sight of a colorful, gorgeous coral reef.

The fish and all those little creatures living there, together. It was mesmerizing to see all of it, especially when a sea turtle approached you.

You gently glided your fingers over it's hard shell as it passed by you.

You got back to the beach, most of your family was sunbathing so you sat on a towel with them.

They started with those questions about your love life again. Great.

"So tell us, you must be in love, who is the lucky guy?", you heard your dad's voice.

You were unsure if you should tell them what happend, "What? In love? How do you know?"

"Well I can see it in your eyes, they kind of... shine brighter. You really think of him all the time so it's pretty much obvious", he said.

Fantastic.

"Uhh well we're kinda together I guess..."

Your grandma clapped her hands in surprise: "Really? So it's been really going well for you, huh?"

"Y-yeah, it really is perfect", you didn't even know what to say, for some reason you felt awkward. You didn't want to tell them the whole story, including those parts with Jaehyun.

"So how did you two met? What is he like? Does he behave different when he's with his friends and when he's with you on a date?", your mom couldn't wait to ask even more questions.

You realised what she had just said, "D-date? We actually haven't been on a date...yet".

"WHAT?"

"You haven't?!"

"What kind of a boyfriend is that??"

They were all surprised and you sighed, "I don't know, we havent't actually talked about it and he doesn't have much free time... We haven't been together for long but I sure can confirm he's an absolute angel".

Sometimes that angel can easily turn into a devil, too. That bad type I like so much it makes me shiver each time. Good lord, he really knows how to make me want him even more. I better stop thinking about this talent of his before I spit something inappropirate.

"We worked together, that's how we met", you continued.

"Worked? You're not a manager anymore?"

You looked at your mom and gulped, "No...I have a new job now. At an office".

"You got fired? Is it because you feel in love with that guy? Is he another manager?"

Are you really asking me this shit?
For real?

"N-no mom, he's an ...idol".

As it was a some kind of a slow-motion clip, you watched your mom spit the juice she was drinking out of her mouth on your dog.

Everyone was in shock.

The dog just turned around and jumped into the waves to wash off the juice.

"W-w-what do you mean he's an idol? YOU ARE DATING AN IDOL OH MY GOD MY LITTLE GIRL WAS CHOSEN BY A FAMOUS PERSON", everybody except your mom kept their mouth shut.

You smiled weakly having no idea what to reply, after she cooled down a bit, your dad had something to say.

"But if he's famous, you should be very careful. Especially with the media and in public".

"Yeah dad I know, for know everything is going fine".

"I'm glad to hear that", he nodded, statisfied.

For the rest of the day you were having fun at the beach and in the evening you went to the amusement park.

Deciding to challenge yourself, you tried to survive the rides that provided you the most adrenaline rush.

The observation wheel was your favourite because it reminded you of your childhood.

When you were a kid, every time you went on a ride you thought to yourself how you were closer to the stars and the moon that was watching over you.

While you were having the time of your life, someone else was planning on how to take his own life.
