A good friend

At around 9pm you and Ten went to the hospital to visit Taeyong.

You walked around nervously while Ten was asking for permission to enter Taeyong's room.

"Hey we are allowed to sed him, let's get in", Ten tapped your shoulder and you quickly followed him to the room.

As soon as Ten has opened the doors, you saw Taeyong laying on the bed, watching TV.

You came up to his bed and sat on it.
"How are you feeling?", you asked.

"Fine, I guess...It hurts", he said kind of weakly and tiredly.

"So....Jaehyun lied, he said we had an affair. I got fired", you looked away.

Suddenly, Taeyong moved into a sitting position, "Wow that's awesome!"

"How the fuck is getting fired awesome!??!", Ten was already annoyed.

"Because she's not working with us anymore, and that means there are no more rules that can stop us. Now we can be together", Taeyong smiled.

"T-tog-eth-", Ten's face became a grimace.

"Together!?", you repeated.

Taeyong nodded, but his bright smile quickly turned into a worried expression. "Where are you going to live? Where will you find a new job? What are you going to do? Are you going to be okay?", he asked many questions.

"Ten helped me find a flat and a job so there's no need to worry about that", you explained.

Ten added: "The only thing we have to worry about is your injury".

"And Jaehyun", said Taeyong.

"Yeah you're right. And where's Johnny?", you looked at both of them.

"He went to get some coffee and chocolate bars", Taeyong said excitedly, clapping like a small child at the thought of sweets.

When he finished his sentence, Johnny entered the room and greeted you and Ten.

"You two are just on time", he gave you a few mini chocolates.

You thanked him and immediately started eating them since you can't say no to something so tasty.

Taeyong called your name and you turned around to see what he has to say.

"As soon as I'm out of hospital, we have to meet", he suggested.
You replied: "That sounds great, you can come over to my flat".

"Sounds brilliant to me", he smiled and took a sip of his warm coffee.

It was late and you, Ten and Johnny went to the building. You wished them a good night and went to your dorm.

You took a shower and got ready for bed. You layed on your bed, staring at the ceiling for a long time. Thinking about how everything could have turned out differently.
Then you finally fell asleep.

In the morning as you were getting ready you heard a knock on your door. It was Ten, he had some free time until noon.

While you were pulling your suitcase, he carried your backpack. He accompanied you to your new home, your flat was on the 7th floor.

Fortunately, the building had an elevator.

Ten helped you unpack all your things and sort them out in the closet. Then you both waited for Ten's cousin.

He finally arrived. It was a small japanese man wearing a suit. He was fluent in english and seemed very succesful.

You made some tea for him and Ten, you chatted with them for a while.

Then Ten's cousin explained to you how to get to the office and said that you're starting from tomorrow.

You were happy that you found a new job which you tought was defenitely less stressful.

He then left and you and Ten were alone again.
The only thing you were abke to hear was silence but he broke it.

"Ah, since now you know the truth, I kind of feel less depressed. I feel relieved".

You looked at him, "I'm glad to hear that".

"But you have to know a few more things...", he looked at you.

"What?"

"Well, Johnny found out who gave you those", you felt his gaze on your neck.

He continued, "And he told me, so I told him how Jaehyun was planning to use you....You know.... And then Johnny and I went to Taeyong and he got really pissed when he heard what was about to happen. So all three of us agreed that we're going to stop this together. Unfortunately, it didn't end well for Taaeyong. Poor him, I've seen the pain in his eyes".

"Yeah, you were just on time. I was so scared. I felt like I had no power to say no", your voice trembled.

Ten nodded, "Don't worry, you'll be fine now. The fun has just started, since now you can be with your guy and there's no need to hide anymore".

"Yes, it's something good in something bad", you replied.

"It's getting late, I should go now. Good night, sleep well. Call me if you need any help...with anything. And also, when I hear from Taeyong, I'll let you know. We'll see how things will go for Jaehyun though".

"Thank you Ten", you smiled and wished him a good night.
