The apology

Your hands started to shake at the thought of who might be the burglar.
What is he has a gun or a knife?

What does he want from me?

You sat on your bed and stared through the window, deciding not to call Nancy or anyone because you knew they would be worried.
You didn't know what to do.

There's absolutely no chance I'm calling the police, that would probably make everything even worse.

Why is this happening to me? Did I deserve it? It hasn't even been 48 hourse since I moved in here.
Gosh, life really hates me.
It's such a bitch.

Hours were passing by, it seemed as they were passing a bit too fast. Probably because you didn't want to go to the park. It was almost 8 pm, you took your purse with you and went out.

While you were making your way downtown, the thought of somethimg horrible happening wasn't leaving your mind.
You were more and more scared, You walked slowly, glancing at your watch from time to time.

You finally arrived at the park, it was 8pm.

I'm not late even when meeting up with someone that could kill me.

You sat on the bench and waited.
You waited and waited, it seemed like an eternity, but it was only 8:10.
Your hands were sweating.

You saw a shadow in front of you and looked up.

You quickly stood up at the sight or a familiar face.

"What are you doing here?!", you asked furiously.

"I came here to talk, sit down", said Jaehyun.

"I ain't sitting down, you dumbass".

"Fine but listen to me", he looked at you.

"The fuck you want?!", you didn't want to be here with him.

"I just....want to apologize".

"Excuse me, I can't hear the bullshit coming out of your lying mouth".

He looked away, "Please, I know I made a mistake".

"It's too late asshole!"

"Stop with all the rude words already. It's not too late, I actually didn't do anything", he defended himself.

"But you intended to, and that's enough! Go fuck yourself", you wanted to get out of there.

"I'm telling you I'm sorry, I don't know what was going on in my head".

"You should see a psychologist".

"Uh I know, I was thinking about all this...And I feel guilty and sorry. I really need help, I wanted to apologize to Ten, but he was so mad, he yelled and cursed at me and didn't accept any apologies".

"You had to think before you made all the wrong moves. Now hand me over my necklace", you were loosing your patience.

"Not yet, let me finnish.
I feel horrib-"

"I swear I'll slap the living shit out of you if you don't give it back. Right. Now.", you cut him off.

He quickly pulled out the necklace from a bag he had with him and gave it to you.

He asked: "Taeyong bought it for you, am I right?"

"Yeah, why? Are you jealous?"

"No, well...a little bit", he looked away.

"Why did you even take it in the first place? Is it because you wanted to talk?"

"Yes, I wanted to apologize".

"And how do you know where I live?"

"I asked Sooyun if she knew where you've moved. And I'm sorry for breaking in your flat. Here's some money so you can repair the door", he replied and gave you some cash.

"Well, wounds take time to heal", you walked away.

He watched you as you walked under the street lights, until you dissapeared in the distance.

You arrived home and put the necklace in it's place.

Thank God it wasn't someone dangerous.

Ten called saying he was in the hospital with Taeyong. You said you'll come too.

You went to the hospital and as you entered Taeyong's room you've seen him and Ten waving at you happily.

"Hi guys....I have kind of bad news".

As soon as they heard that, their smiles faded away.

"What happend?", asked Taeyong.

"Is it Jaehyun?", Ten was even more curious.

You replied: "Yeah, so he broke in my flat and stole the necklace Taeyong gave me. He left a note in which he said that I must meet him in the park. We met up an hour ago, I got even angrier when I saw it was him who burgled me".

"Son of a bitch", Ten hissed but Taeyong quickly shushed at him, glancing at you with his sparkly eyes, waiting to hear what you had to say next.

"So he apologized, said he felt guilty for all the things he has done. He gave me my necklace back. He also said how he apologized to you, but you didn't want to accept it", you looked at Ten who nodded.

"Don't worry, as the time passes, all of us will cool down and the situation will get better", Taeyong said while trying to sit up in his bed.

"Yeah, I agree. And how are you?", you asked him.

"I'll be out in 2 or 3 days. Then I'll be able to come and visit you", Taeyong smiled.

"I'm glad to hear that", you replied, blushing.

You were with them until 10pm, and then you headed home, planning your next day.
