Unexpected

As in some kind of a slow-motion scene, you watched  Ten as he was slowly climbing up the fence, with your eyes wide open.

All the shivers going down your spine, you felt like your heart is going to burst of out your chest.

All the sounds around you turned into blurred noises, you could now hear only your heavy breathing and your heart going crazy.

You couldn't believe it, you were watching him go, just like that.

A huge will to save him was burning inside you, but you felt like you were chained, not being able to move.

Not being able to make a single step, in order to save him, you just stood in place in shock, shaking in fear.

Your sobs became louder as he was almost ready to jump.
You couldn't hold your emotions back.
You fell on your knees,
crying and screaming.
After realising you have to let go of him, if this is the only way he wants to end it all, then you'll have to accept it.

I don't want to remember this for the rest of my life.

Ten was just a step away from his death.

He only had to let his hands go and relax his body, the river would then take care of his body and soul.

Just as he was about to loosen the grip, his wrist was grabbed by someone's hand.

When Ten turned around to see who is stopping him from dying, the person pulled him over the fence to safety.

Ten looked in shock at Jaehyun.

Speechless.

"What are you staring at?! Are you crazy? Why-wh- what...What was going through your idiotic mind!? D-did you think you could just commit suicide like that??", Jaehyun yelled at Ten.

"Did you follow me?", Ten glared at him, not being able to believe how Jaehyun stole his show.

"No! I-I mean yeah. Well kinda. I went to the store...", Jaehyun looked at the grocery bag he had in his hand, and then back at Ten, "...when I got out I saw you walking down the street and you looked like you were up to no good. I knew something really wrong was about to happen".

"You son of a bitch!!!", at the speed of lightning Ten grabbed a new fly swatter from the grocery bag and slapped Jaehyun with it.

You watched the drama from far away.

So far Jaehyun has only been getting slaps from others.

"What the hell?! You asshole!!!", Jaehyun pushed Ten away.

"Asshole? Me?! Then who are you, huh? You just ALWAYS have to mess something up, you're not letting me die either. You just want me to suffer!", Ten was loosing his mind.

"Well if I knew you would have slapped me with a goddamn fly swatter for saving you, I would've fully supported you at your decision of comitting suicide".

"You disgusting rat! Then support me now", Ten was about to explode but he turned around and tried to make his way to the fence again but Jaehyun pulled him back.

"You idiot! Don't do it, do you hear me?!!", Jaehyun shook Ten's shoulders.

"Get off your dirty claws of me!", Ten pushed him away, raising his voice.

Offended, Jaehyun was ready for some fist throwing, "What did you say? Oh I'll show you-"

You showed up between them just in time so they don't kill each other.
"Guys, you have to stop this. Stop it, don't fight!"

Ten turned around to look at you, "This is not your problem!"

Jaehyun was staring at you.

"Y/N?", he said in a low voice.

Oh great, look who missed me.

You took a deep breath,  "You guys...stop fighting. Ten, you should be greateful for Jaehyun saving your ass".

"Saving my ass?! I would be more thankful if he had let go of me, because nobody cared until now. Now y'all care because I came to the point where I want to take my own life", Ten was frustrated.

"N-nobody?! And what was I doing? I was helping you solve your problems with depression and addiction, tried to make you feel better", after you said that, Ten didn't say a word.

A sudden "Really?" came from Jaehyun.

Ten looked at him and sighed, "Yeah really... I'm sorry Y/N. I should be thankful for you, you've truly done your best. It's not your fault I'm like this."

"Don't worry, everything will be fine, I promise. Just please don't try to do something stupid like this ever agan", you patted his back.

Your phone started ringing and you took it out of your bag.

You all saw whose name was written on the screen.

It was Taeyong.

Jaehyun noticed it and felt rage growing inside his body.

Ah, jaelousy.

All of a sudden, he snatched your phone from your hands and threw it across the fence.

You watched your phone fly in the air, until the Han river swallowed it.

"Fantastic", you heard Ten comment.

"Excuse me what the actual fuck is going on, do you think you can throw away my phone just like that?!", you yelled at Jaehyun, already having his death planned.

He didn't say a word, obviously he was shocked by his own action.

"I'll strangle you!!!"

Before you managed to crash into Jaehyun, you felt Ten's strong grip on your body, pulling you away from the phone thrower.

"Leave him alone, he could easily hurt you", Ten said.

"He ain't hurting me if I fight first, you see these fists?!!", you said furiously while Jaehyun was just looking at you with no specific expression on his face.

"Do you know what was on that phone?!?! Do you??", you asked.

"Taeyong's number", Jaehyun replied in a cold tone.

"And our pictures, they meant a lot to me".

As soon as he realised our meant you and Taeyong's, he spat on the floor as a way of showing disgustion.

"I'm glad you don't have those photos anymore", he turned around and walked away.

You watched in anger and despair as he walked away.

"What a bitch. He was and still is", you heard Ten judge behind you.
