Chapter 5

Third POV

[Today I'm heading back to see the Nakano sisters. I get to be myself today. I've really been out of it the last couple days but today I get to relax and be myself. I'm looking forward to hanging out with Miku. Each one of us boys has a certain girl so I guess Miku is mine. I ring the buzzer and am let in immediately. I knock on the door and Miku answers it. I am so happy to see her]

Third: Hey, Miku, how are you today?

Miku: I'm okay.

Third: Ready to hang out?

Miku: Definitely.

[Miku and I walk into the room where all the other sisters are hanging out. Futaro is already there. He is struggling to get the girls' attention]

Futaro: JP! I'm glad you're here! Please help me get the girls to study.

Third: Sorry. You must be thinking of Fifth. I'm Third. He's the smart one.

Futaro: Is it possible for you to call him over?

Third: He said he would only if the girls are doing well.

Futaro: They are.

Third: Really? Because it seems to me that you've made no progress.

Futaro: You don't have to be so harsh.

[I see Itsuki struggling with a problem]

Third: You okay, Itsuki?

Itsuki: No! I'm struggling. I really need your brother here!

Third: I'm not Fifth but I can help with that question.

[I help her with the problem. It was pretty simple. Once I was finished, I saw Itsuki with a look on her face]

Third: Are you okay?

Itsuki POV

[Third had just helped me finish the problem. He asks me if I'm okay. I don't know how to answer. For a second I thought I saw a similar look that Fifth made when he came over earlier this week. It was really similar. I guess those brothers are really alike]

Third POV

[I look around the room and don't see Ichika. I am curious on how the audition went. First didn't tell me how it went]

Third: Where is Ichika?

Miku: She's in her room. She's upset about something but didn't tell us what.

Third: Do you mind if I speak to her for a second?

Miku: Not at all.

[I knock on Ichika's door]

Third: Ichika, it's me.

Ichika: JP?

Third: Well, I'm not the First JP. I'm the Third.

Ichika: Oh.

Third: Can I come in?

Ichika: Fine. It's unlocked.

[I walk in and see that her eyes are bloodshot red. She must have been crying for days. I guess I got my answer]

Third: How are you feeling?

Ichika: I feel terrible. I didn't get the part.

[This absolutely broke my heart. She wanted to the role so bad]

Ichika: Now I'm afraid that your brother will want nothing to do with me.

Third: My brother wouldn't leave you because you didn't get a part.
