Chapter 21

Miku POV

[I woke up early. I had already set out the clothes I was going to wear yesterday. I was nervous but ready. I wasn't going to just ask Third to the dance. I am confessing as well. This was a big day and I wanted to make sure that nothing got in the way. I was going to make sure of it. I got dressed, ate breakfast, and then walked over to Yotsuba]

Miku: Yotsube.

Yitusba: What's up, Miku?

Miku: Can you do me a favor?

Yotsuba: Sure.

Miku: I have this errand list in my room. Can you please find it for me and then go find the items. I would really appreciate it.

Yotsuba: Sure thing.

[Yotsuba has a hard time saying "no" to anyone. I hid the list in my room. Even if she does find it, it was like fifty things on it. There is no way she'll get it done before the day is over. I get dressed and then text Third]

[Miku]: Hey, Third.

[Third]: Hey, Miku. What's up?

[Miku]: I wanted to know if you wanted to hangout today.

[Third]: Sure.

[Miku]: Great. I'll see you at my place.

[He was coming over. This is a big step in my life. I'm ready]

Third POV

[Miku just asked me to hangout today. I was very excited. I wanted to hangout during the fireworks festival but Yotsuba got in the way. I was going to make sure that she didn't this time. I texted her a list of errands I wanted to her to run. She said "yes" without hesitation. I'm praying on her weakness. Don't judge me. I get dressed in my usual suit and head over. I'm buzzed in and I enter. Miku is the first person I see]

Miku: Hey.

Third: Hey. You look great.

Miku: I always look like this.

Third: Oh...well...you still look great.

Miku: Thanks. Shall we get going?

Third: What's the plan?

Miku: I thought we'd just take a walk and then maybe grab lunch.

Third: Sure. It's been a while since we just hung out and talked.

[We leave and begin our walk. I don't want anything to mess this up. I see a man selling roses. I've seen this in a movie. I pay for one and hand it to her. She smiles as she smells it. Yes! So far so good! We continue our walk talk about anything and everything. We got lunch at ice cream shop. I ordered chocolate. I offered her some and she refused and got vanilla. I guess she doesn't like chocolate. We sat across from each other. I just stared at her]

Miku: Why are you looking at me like that?

Third: You look cute when you eat.

[What was that? That was super creepy!]

Miku: Thanks.

[Whew. Didn't blow up in my face. We continue eating and when we finished we went back on our walk. I looked at her. I could tell she was thinking hard about something. I didn't want to pry so I didn't say anything. We walked for a couple of hours. We lost track of time. She stops me]

Miku: Hey, want to go back to that roof?

Third: Don't we have to pay for it?

Miku: No. They'll let us for a little while. We won't be long. Plus, we're the only ones who use the roof anyway.
