Giving you a gentle peck on the cheek, Jason leaves your side to wash his hands of the neon paints that now covered them. You had things to do as well of course. The store needed opening up for the day and truth be told, you were glad to go. The smell from Jason's latest kill was still filling the air and while the smell of iron and rotting was something you had become accustomed to some fresh air wouldn't kill you. You look around the cluttered workshop, trying to locate your coat in this mess would be near impossible. You begin to rummage around, being careful to not break anything of the toymaker's. You would get a few new and fresh gashes from that.

" Where is it? " You gently move away paintbrushes and potted paints, wood and wax but still nothing. You were sure you had left it on the couch last night after coming home so where was it? Before you could even have another thought on the matter you feel a cold hand rest upon your shoulder. Thinking it was Jason, you turn around with a soft smile on your face.

" Jason, what are you...? " You stop in your tracks, noticing very clearly that Jason did not stand before you but one of his precious wax dolls. She held your coat in her clammy hand, her expression vacant and still. Your heart beats quicker in a protest to what was happening, perhaps a display of fear. You had never gotten used to those dolls, not after when you first found them after you and the toymaker met. You take the coat off the doll gently as to not break it, nodding in thanks as you did. The doll still looked at you though, never turning away and never blinking. You hear hollow footsteps from in front of you, noticing Jason exit his workshop bathroom and cleaning his hands with a clean towel, something rarely found in this place. Jason's expression turned from calm to irritated, his teeth sharpening, his eyes glowing and his lips turning that dark black colour you so loved.

" What are you doing out here?! Get back into your room! " It was obvious by his anger that the doll wasn't meant to be out of the back room. When the doll refuses, not moving an inch, Jason grabs her hand and drags her back himself, slamming the door in frustration behind him. Silence settled for a moment before muffled screams resonated soft around the room. Your heart skipped a beat ,knowing full well what the toymaker was doing behind closed doors. You take a deep breath, putting your coat over your shoulders as the toymaker exists the back with with a satisfied smirk.

" Well she's fixed. Heading out my dear? " You nod, heading for the table of smoke mice that Jason used to travel. The toymaker grabs your arm, stopping you from reaching for a mouse toy, your arm bleeding gently from the pressure. You watch as your arm also quickly bruises from the grip, leaving a hand shaped bruise once he let go of you. You keep your arm close to your chest, hoping that rubbing the skin may subside the pain you felt. You try to reach for a mouse again, this time being met with an even more violent response from Jason. A cold metal blade is pressed against your neck, threatening to pierce the skin. Seeing the fear and pain in your eyes the toymaker chuckles, licking the fresh blood off the blade and cutting his tongue as he did.

" I'm coming with you today " You sit down, watching as the toymaker got himself ready to head out. While in the workshop Jason had taken to wearing a separate outfit from what he normally wore. He removed his brown waistcoat and button up shirt, revealing several scars on his chest and back. Slender had really done a number on the toymaker during your fight but he was healing up well. He wasn't an insecure man but you could tell he was ashamed of getting hurt so much, trying to cover his scars the best he could. Reaching for his ruffle neck grey shirt and red wasitcoat, Jason gets himself re dressed quickly to cover his scars and the failure they represented to him. He throws on his feathered coat and top hat, grabbing your hand as both of you exited the workshop together and into the world you once considered normal.
