I'm really sorry for being away for so long everyone. As you all know it wasn't my fault as wifi is a tricky thing. Thank you all for being so patient. Now, let's get on with the story shall we?

The store had really flourished after your fight with Slender, the fight somehow giving the toymaker new ideas for toys and plenty of unique design ideas. You saw it as a fright but he saw it as an opportunity. It was true. A monster fears nothing, his only fear being the loss of yourself but something was still unclear to you.

Did he fear loosing you because he loved you like you loved him?

Or

Did he fear loosing you because you were his prized doll?

You hoped it was the latter, your stomach turning at the thought and your heart beating quickly in fear from the other option.

You step quickly into the shop, sheltering from the pouring and thunderous rain outside. It was the worst downpour in the passing months. Typical . On the day you decided to come out. You look back, hoping to see the toymaker following quickly behind you but to your distress you saw nothing. You wondered worriedly in the back of your mind where he could have gone. You were sure he was behind you as you left but suddenly you were met with an uncomfortable silence. You thought nothing of it, just thinking that perhaps Jason was in a bad mood from his doll's previous outburst.

You hang your coat up on the rack, hearing the water drip from the now soaking fabric. It was somewhat therapeutic and calming, making you produce a content sigh as you place the wooden dolls of many colours and sizes on the slightly dusted shelves. Jason refused to let you clean. He said it added character to the store and when you went against him on the manner lets just say that it took you a good few minuets to clean the bloodstain off the floor. The door behind you creeks open slowly, making your heart thump with fear. Had Slender somehow come back? Perhaps it was a proxy. You swallow the air that threatened to suffocate you as the breath in your lungs quickly diminished from the lack of ability to breathe from the feeling of  trepidation. You grab a chisel left there from the previous day in your clammy hands, making your way gingerly towards the door. You could hear your heartbeat ring in your ears like a bell, unfolding your crimson wings to perhaps frighten off whoever was there, lurking in the shadows silently like a mouse.

Lifting the chisel, you take a deep breath. You swing the minuscule weapon with force, stopping mid swing as an unfamiliar face peaks around the door.

" Whoa there! Calm down! I'm just here to pick up a few things " You take a well needed long breath, laying the tool back down on the table.

" You must be (Y/N) " He spoke in a soft if something horse tone. His long black hair covered half of his face, a faint pink hue shining from under his hair. His light blue shirt and black pants had seen better days, covered head to toe in paints and glue. It reminded you of when Jason spent his days in the workshop playing with and modifying his toys. It never occurred to you how he already knew your name, still in shock and quivering from the fear that still resided deep in your slowly blackening heart.

" My store is across the road. I'm Vine and it is a pleasure to meet you "
