"I must be dreaming!" I yelled, looking around the feild with a huge grin on my face. "This is unbelievable!"

I was standing in the middle of a feild, grass up to my shins. All around me was wide open space, with a huge, gorgeous pond to my left. Horses and cows were wandering around it, some swimming in it, trying to cool off from the heat. Over to my right, there was just open pastures free for riding and goofing off.

I was wondering around the area, just happy to be in the country again. I was so caught up in the scenery that I almost didn't notice someone call my name.

"Joey!" I heard again, just as I was turning around. When I finally turned around, I was knocked to the ground by some little girl who had tackled my legs. I looked down seeing my little sister Kaycie smiling up at me.

I just giggled, happy to see her again. "Well hello to you too Kaycie!" I said, snatching her from my leg and hugging her. "I missed you sissy!" Kaycie said, looking up at me and smiling. I held her closer to me, hugging her as tight as possible, putting my forehead on top of her head.

"I missed you too princess." Gosh, it felt so good to be able to hug her again. Just holding her started to bring back all of those bad memories of what happened to her.

Shaking my head I pulled back, getting a good look at her. "You've grown a bit since last I saw you princess!"

She just giggled, looking as happy as can be, like nothing had even happen to cause all of this.

"Silly! No I haven't!" Kaycie giggled. I just laughed and grinned. "Oh I think you have! You're almost to my waist now!" And she really was. I can't believe she's changing so much. Even her hair seemed longer, and her frame a bit bigger.

"Oh well. want to go have some fun?" I say, eyeing the pasture. As soon as I said that, she bolted up right out of my lap, jumping up and down in place.

"Yes! Let's go! Let's go! Let's go!" She yelled taking my hand, trying to pull me up right. I helped her and stood up, taking off running with her holding my hand. I missed this so much. Just having her close to me felt like a gift from god. It's one of those few times I actually enjoy being with people, especially since im with my little sister again.

We were having so much fun, just running around in circles chasing each other, soaking up as much sun as possible. We were both exhausted by the time we decided to take a break.

We were sitting up against our favorite tree, a little maple tree out by the pond. I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath, trying to inhale as much of the scent of this place as I could. 'It's been so long since we've been back here...' I thought to myself. I felt tears start to prick at my eyes, but i just pushed them back and sighed, pulling Kaycie into my lap.

I hugged her as tight as i could, not wanting this to end. "Sissy, it's almost time again," Kaycie said, startling me. "What do you mean princess?" She just sighed and kissed me on the cheek. "I love you sissy." Kaycie said to me. "I love you too, princess." I said back, still confused by her earlier words. "Come back soon, Joey." Kaycie said to me, confusing me even more. Just as i was about to ask her what in the world she was talking about, a loud beeping sound launched me out of my thoughts.
