A girl with two horns protruding out of her head had her hand on my shoulder, "The name 's Cass, You here for the soul breaker?" She snarled, but it seemed to be oddly comforting. Soul breaker? What on Earth was that? "The soul breaker?" I asked as the girl sneered. "Yes, that filthy hu- oh. You don't know. Her name was Rebecca? something like that?" She dropped the look of mischief but it was still lingering in the air. I looked up "Where is she?" Cass rolled her eyes. "She broke a promise, and now she owes her soul." Broke a promise? Owes her soul? "To who?" Cass began to get annoyed and glared at me like I was rude for asking. "You've just met him! Do you forget that easily?" She smirked and rolled her eyes. "In any case, despite your stupidity, I HAVE to help you sort out your life. Well, your friends at least." My eyes darted around, surely there was a catch. "But, we only have an hour, before, well, she's dead for real. And I'm meant to help you as a punishment for not cleaning the house before the guests arrived." Andddd... there it was. The catch, a big one at that. AN HOUR! HOW THE ACTUAL HELL WAS I MEANT TO GET WHATEVER THE ACTUAL HELL THEY WANTED IN AN HOUR? Cass must have sensed my surprise, as she put her arm on my shoulder. "It's fine. They all think that." She said in a monotone voice. "Wait. What? I was thinking that how did y-" I began. "You do that? I learnt to do it, look I can teach you! I love teaching mortals." She squealed in excitement. Well, I was always up for a lesson with a demon about reading peoples minds. But was it really necessary to save Becca? "Yes," Cass said over the top of my thoughts. DAMN. Forgot about that. "Also, I'm offended that you think I'm a demon. I, Miss Lunbele. Am the Devil's daughter." The background noise of the current market drained from the area. Her words were like fire. Quite literally. That's when I noticed her tongue was that of snakes and her eyes were black and crescent-shaped as she spoke. But all went back to normal within a matter of seconds. "Oh, don't look so shocked. Let's get on with that lesson." We found a spot in the market, lanterns scattered throughout the sky and others nestled away reading books. An at that point I realised something. Hell was prettier than Earth.
