"You little drama queen," Jordon laughed at Draconia and he put them in their cot, but I think he saw the look in Akantha's eyes as she tried to grab the toy to hit her sister with most likely. So he picked up Akantha causing her to wail and cry, and he placed her on a mat before flicking his hand at it causing it to spring up into its own, and transform into a cot for the baby. "Still new to this, huh?" He said, referring to my shocked expression. I nodded but was on the brink of asking him something, "What?" he spoke, he was clearly good at telling when someone wanted something, maybe it was all those years of looking after the twins, it seemed to have given him a sense, or maybe he was born with it, "Care to help me and Cass with the dinner tonight?" I asked innocently, maybe even demons would give into puppy dog eyes. "Can't, father wants me to 'rest' so I can stay at home over the holidays," He was clearly mocking his father's worry, and, as father had previously paid absolutely NO attention to me, I silently wished for his relationship with him. I nodded and placed my hand on his shoulder, "Alright, then I guess I'll see you at dinner?" He looked off to the side, "Yeah, I'll be there," He sounded sad but I didn't ask upon it, as it didn't seem like the proper thing to do at that current moment. I walked further away from him and closed the door to the nursery behind me, as he finished putting them to bed. I smiled to myself as I walked down the stairs. I wasn't expecting, however, to bump head first into a gaggle of teenagers, or at least, they looked like teenagers. "Yo, moooooove," The girl some sort of cigarette said, there was a chain around her neck, 'Ficreis' "Like it, huh? You act as you've never seen gold before. What are you, a maid?" She laughed and the two boys next to her did as well. The only one that didn't look at all comfortable was the girl to the left of her. She had red, fiery hair - not ginger. Red hair. She gazed sadly at her friend, "Don't be like that, Ficreis," She scolded her. Ficreis flinched, "Aw, come on Calionia, You are always up for making fun of slaves," She was still laughing but did look concerned as to why her friend didn't want to have fun picking on me. I decided I hated the girl with the cigarette, and quite liked the other girl. "She isn't a slave," She managed to mumble, the girl with the cigarette had now thrown it onto the floor, she stamped to put it out and put her arm around her friend, she whispered something to her. Calionia's body became stiff. She was also quite red in the face, I thought she was cursed or something, but she waved it off, "She's anath," The other girl spun on her heels, "Hey, um we were just joking right, we didn't mean to upset you, um, we'll see you at dinner, and I um - Sorry!" The girl rushed away with the others upstairs to the other rooms, so. That meant one of those teenagers was related to me. God, I hope it's not Ficreis, how do you even pronounce that, Fic-res. Nope. Fic-re-es. Probably, it'll have to do. But she seems to not care about how I say her name, only that I don't murder her. Wonder who anath is. Will we meet her? What's going to happen once Ficreis notices that I'm not her? Oh god... "She won't," Came the familiar voice of the red-headed girl.
