"I'm staying," If Cass was standing up I'm sure she would have fallen over. "No, hun, you ain't," She smiled sadly at me. "I want to." She stood up, "Look, Laura. You can't stay here, you have a family, just go home and forget all about us." I walked over to her, and placed my hand on her shoulder "Hey, no way. I have the stones remember. I like it here. It's so pretty. I'll just tell Becca to tell my mom I love her and I'm happy." I smiled thinking of her, but Cass wasn't happy, "No, Laura look, I've always wanted to meet my sister, but I don't want to take you away from your family. Go home." I was shocked, I needed to save Becca AND I wanted to stay. "No. I'm staying." Before Cass could respond I ran through the cosy place we were sat in, through the market square until I ran into a young woman with a snake tongue and claws. "Hello dearie, you need a hand? You don't look like you belong here," I nodded, "Um well, I have to find my father, I want to stay here you see, because I'm a half-fang or something and my friend made a deal with the God here whose my father and, my sister Cass, is trying to get me to go back to Earth and I-" The woman interrupted me, thank god really I was rambling. I didn't know who to trust but it felt good to talk to someone who obviously knew what the hell was going on. "You know Cass, your sister is Cass?" I nodded "She wants to make me go back into the human world AND I DON'T WANT TO!" Okay, note to self - emotions aren't great, don't use them when unnecessary. "Hey, now, it's fine, look you see that building go there, your father should be there in that room," She said pointed to a window that was resided into the melted flowing lava castle. "Okay, thanks," I could practically hear her surprise as I walked away, I ran forward so I was face to face with the mighty lump of lava known as the castle of 'Karuni' I walked into the castle as Cass appeared in front of me. "Oh. No. You. Don't." Her eyes glowered red. As something smacked her on the shoulder, "Now, now, Cass. Who's this?" Cass' eyes turned black as she retreated back into her father's grasp. "Laura Lunbele." The creatures' eyes lit up "LUNBELE?" Cass nodded to the creatures screech. It walked out of the shadows. Red lightning illuminated its eyes, its slick black hair was gelled into place, It looked normal. Like a normal human man. Despite the eyes. That's what made what he said even more peculiar.
