I follow Maura and Blue back downstairs, a bit unnerved. The electricity I had felt through my fingertips was now going through my whole body. My head was fuzzy and I felt like I had been walking for miles.
I trip over a stair, and Blue easily catches my arm. "Hey," she said, "are you okay?"
     I nodded. Liar.
The living room of 300 Fox Way was filled with little girls, all clambering over each other to get to the fridge, with a light sprinkle of my raven boys. Blue brings me over to them, and I notice that Ronan isn't there. Probably still blowing off steam...
When Gansey sees me, and stands up and brushes off his khaki shorts. "Well, now that you're done, we've got to run. A very angry Lynch is waiting in the car."
His voice was staticky. His face wasn't there. There's something wrong with me.
"Alright, well, take care of yourselves, especially this one; she's of great importance."
I felt Gansey put a hand on my shoulder, making me flinch a bit. I felt more vulnerable, weaker.
"Hey... Are there any side effects to this psychic stuff? 'Cause (Y/N) looks a bit more green than usual."
Than usual?
Maura smiles warily. "Well, I wouldn't exactly call it a side effect... well, actually, that's not correct. The reading took a lot of energy from her. She should be fine in a couple days."
Everything was black. Like my soul, haha.

My head.
My head.
My head.
My head.
My head.
...
Hurts.

My eyes open to a dark room, but it feels oddly familiar. My body is wrapped in cool sheets, the type you have if you leave the fan on in your room. WAIT. THIS IS MY ROOM.
I bolt up, my hands suddenly clammy. The last thing I remember is my reading...
My door opens, and my room's lights suddenly flare on. I cover my eyes with my hands. "Why the heck—?!"
"Come down, Girl Gansey."
I let my eyes adjust to the brightness of the room, and see Ronan at the door. I wave. He laughs and pulls my desk chair next to my bed and sits in it. "So, you want to know how long you've been sleeping or do you want to know why you passed out?" He asked.
I thought about it and said, "Asleep."
"Two days."
"TWO DAYS?!"
"Maura said that you'd have to rest."
"I know, but two days?"
Ronan flicked my forehead. "Just deal with it. You passed out because the reading took too much of your "energy", or whatever the heck that is."
I scrunched my brow. Energy as in physical, or voodoo magic stuff? I don't know...
I felt my hand being gathered in the warmth of another. Ronan glided his thumb against the back of my hand. "I'm just glad you're alright. Gave me a real heart attack when Gansey carried you back tot he car all dead looking."
I felt my cheeks heat up. I chuckled and placed of hair behind my ear. "Well, I'm not going to die just yet. Be prepared, though, I've been having a knack for it."
Ronan laughed, and his face suddenly got very serious. "You really did scare me, y'know. I know it's not your fault, but if that weird psycho lady tries anything on you again, I'm gonna have to throw hands."
I smile at him, and he smiles back.
"I really don't like that I'm the only one with a nickname."
"Hm?"
"Maybe I should just start calling you Lynch."
"No."
"Ronan Niall?"
"Oh gosh, no."
"Pretty boy?"
"N-No!"
"Haha! Um, what about bird boy?"
"...I approve."
