"Noah, don't get it all over the place please."
Living with Noah Czerny wasn't always easy. First off, it was always cold whenever he was around. With the added bonus of his presence making the atmosphere in the room seem tense.
Currently, I was watching him feed Chainsaw on Ronan's bed during our hangout session. A hangout session consisted of me, Ronan, and Noah all doing stupid stuff for one or two hours until Gansey or Adam told us to stop.
"Maybe we can get out of going to that stupid psychic," Ronan said while throwing things into ongoing traffic from his window.
I put on a face. "That "stupid psychic" just happens to be my friends mom, Ronan. And I don't appreciate your lack of will."
Ronan's shoulders slumped, and he threw a empty beer can out the window for his next victim.
A knock on Ronan's door made us all jump, excluding Ronan. Gansey's voice came from behind it, "Come on, guys. We're off to see the psychic!"
I got up begrudgingly. I didn't want to be stuck in a car with Gansey, much less a room full of fortune tellers. I guess I'll be forced to, though.
We all exited the house and piled into the Pig. Gansey and Adam were in the front while Ronan and I were in the back. Noah wasn't coming, for some reason.
The tension between Gansey and I must've been apparent, because I've never seen Adam so uncomfortable.
"So," he started, ", what are you hoping to find out?" This question was obviously directed toward Gansey and his Glendower search.
The tension melted away a bit as Gansey started talking on and on about how they could help him succeed in finding the old king, or, at the very least, help him find his lost pair of glasses.
While I was busy looking out the window (there was a cute Great Dane), Ronan has unconsciously put his arm around my shoulder. It was pretty normal for us, but ever since I realized I had those kind of feelings toward him, it always makes my heart jump a bit. In summary, my face at that moment was a fancy shade of strawberry.
Ronan, unfortunately, noticed this, and I saw him smirk a bit. Greaaaat, just great. Now that he saw that, he's going to try to embarrass me more because it amused him, and then he'll tell me that it was just a joke, about how I was his best friend. That's all we'll probably ever be... Right?

"Sorry that I'm late," Gansey said as the door was opened. The three women that answered the door were all different. There was Blue's mom, modern and quaint; the woman to her left was darker skinned and seemed a lot angrier; finally, the last woman appeared elegant and innocent, and had blonde, almost white, hair. "Will it be a problem?"
Behind them, I saw Blue at the stairway. I waved to her with a smile, and she waved back.
"Well, it's not too late. Come into the reading room. Can I get some names?" Blue's mom said.
We stepped in, and the house was crawling with girls, young and old. I answered first, "I'm (Y/N), I go to school with Blue."
Blue's mom smiled at me warmly, and turned toward the boys. Gansey answered for all of them, of course.
"Ah, okay. "This is my daughter, she'll be present for the reading, if you don't mind."
Gansey looked at Blue, and his face immediately fell. Ronan glanced at me, a ghost of a smirk on his face. I smiled back, and I saw his ears lightly turn pink. I looked back forward, not wanting to make things awkward.
"Well," I said, "this may be the first time I've ever seen Richard in a situation this awkward."
The other boys beside me snickered as Gansey gave me a glare.
Blue's mom gave him a questioning look. He replied, "Yes. We had a discussion about alternative professions for women. I didn't realize she was your daughter. (Y/N)?"
He shot me a poisonous, which I replied to with a look just as. "Of course I knew. I just wanted to give you a pleasant surprise."
One thing was for certain: Gansey and I are officially at war.
