Surprise visit from the Dementors

Harry's POV
I was walking back from Magnolia Street, saw Dudley saying bye to his friends. Seeing him with them was annoying me as I wasn't with my friends.

"Hey Big D, beat another ten year old. I know you did Mark Evan's 2 days earlier.", He ignored me. He ignored me!?. Oh no I'm gonna take my frustrations out on him.

"What did that kid say that you got annoyed. Said you looked like a pig coz that's true diddykins."

It gave me immense pleasure to see him like this. Dudley tried to antagonize me but I wasn't gonna give him the satisfaction so I took out my wand. But then he said Cedric's name and said he was my boyfriend. Now I was worked up. I was beyond angry. I was seething. I could feel my fourteen years anger and hatred pounding in my veins.

Suddenly everything went dark. First I thought I did something but looking in the sky I knew it wasn't me, I couldn't dim the stars. Dudley was terrified but I had to remain calm to know what was happening. Suddenly realization dawned on me. But it couldn't happen , they couldn't be so far from Azkaban. The Dementors . Then Dudley punched me and ran right into it .

I searched for my wand desperately. And holding it up I said, "expecto patronum". But didn't work so I thought hard about happy memories or happy thought and screamed again. Expecto Patronum. They were gone.

After that I realised what happened: Dementors in Wisteria walk. This was bad. I heard footsteps and I turned thinking someone was attacking. But saw my neighbor Mrs Figg.

"Don't put it away, boy. What if there were more around. I'll kill Mundungus. He was supposed to make sure you didn't use magic." She said. She did have a point there. She helped me haul Dudley up and then we started walking towards home.

"What did this Mundungus guy have to do with Dementors, Mrs Figg." , I asked." He was supposed to watch over you so something like this doesn't happen. I told him I'd flay him alive if he went and now Dementors. It's lucky I put Mr Tibbies on the case. Hurry now, we have to get you back home. Oh the trouble this is going to cause. I'll kill him. "

"Your a witch ?"."no boy, I'm a squib as he full well knows so how was I supposed to help you fight those dementors. He left you without any cover when I warned him not to." She replied to my question.

"This bloke has been following me?. So it was him who disapparated from the front of the house", I said aloud."yes , yes boy, I stationed Mr Tibbies under the car  just in case and he came and warned me but by the time I got to your house you were gone -- oh what's Dumbledore going to say ?"she replied.

"You know Dumbledore?"."of course I know Dumbledore. Who doesn't know him. But c'mon, I'll be no use if they come back." "Make sure your wand is out. Never mind the Statute of Secrecy. There is going to be hell to pay anyway,we might as well be hanged for dragon  as an egg. This was exactly what Dumbledore was afraid of. Keep your wand out boy, didn't I tell you I'll be no use to you if someone or something attacks you. "

It was not easy to hold Dudley and the wand at the same time . He was just that heavy. And she wouldn't stop talking , at least this way I was getting some information. And she starts to ramble again.

"Oh my word, when Dumbledore finds out-- how could he have left when he was supposed to stay until midnight, where is he . How will I inform Dumbledore about what's happened. I can't apparate."

I suggested using my owl but she snapped saying," Harry you don't understand. Dumbledore needs to know right now. The Ministry has their own way of detecting underage magic, they'll know already ".
