A Little Big Problem

Ministry has been little disturbed because they were under observation by every other ministry and Fudge wanted to look good. He could not show he did not trust his administration. Perci had let all the ministries know about London. They were ready to isolate them but her President talked to all of them and convinced them of the possibility of Voldemort coming back to power and so to take adequate measures if problem arose on the big scale. But Perci did not consider Voldemort that big an international threat just a local one, which she could handle.

Problem was people around her snooping. Rumours were floating around about her disappearance which did not sit well with her. She did not want her enemies to know where she was. She was getting anxious about it. No one would think of looking here but with her fate anything was possible. She put on more glamour so to make sure her magic didn't slip through.

Dumbledore on the other hand was constantly trying to find anything about her but every place he looked was a dead end. It's like they knew her but didn't want to tell anyone. Goblins in gringotts knew her. He visited the bank once but they did not tell anything when Dumbledore asked about the purpose of it. It frustrated him to no end.

In the Griffindor tower, Hermione wanted to learn more about defence believing Harry that Voldemort is back. She wanted to talk to Harry about it. She discussed with Ron and he was all for it.

It was only second week here and work load was pilling up for all of them. Harry wanted to ask about the conversation with Sirius to Alexis but was afraid that she might not like it. Harry saw she was worried about something. Snape was always there talking to her about something but doubt it helped her.

Perci learned that Voldemort had his supporters growing in numbers in shadows and Dumbledore wasn't doing anything except guard a stupid prophecy and this was not helping her anger ; not able to do anything is extremely hard. She has been talking to Hecate for advice but all she says is wait but for an ADHD kid it's impossible.

She started showing them new techniques and defense spells and also helped create new spells for the children. They were learning and enjoying the classes the most. The most fun they've had since Remus as a defense teacher.

(Later that night....)
Hermione and Ron waited for Harry to come back to the common room.

"Hey Harry." Hermione started the conversation.

"Hey. What are you both doing?" Harry replied.

"Nothing just completing homework. There's a pile load of homework. I thought maybe Alexis may be a little lenient but looks like she is on a roll."

"Ya me too. She looks like she wants to teach it all to me." Harry said jokingly.

"Harry I was thinking that maybe .... Just maybe we should make our own effort for it as well."

"Make an effort to do what ?" Harry asked suspiciously.

"Well....learn defense ourselves or ask her to teach us more."

"Are you crazy Hermione. We already have so much homework and most of it is from her and you want to add more to it." Ron looked at her like she had grown 2 heads.

"Hermione , Ron's right. We have to much already to do and you want to add more to it." Harry answered thinking Hermione has gone nuts .

" It's so much more important than homework"

Ron and Harry both looked at her skeptically.

"I thought there was nothing more important than homework." Ron said.

" Don't be silly, of course there is. It's about preparing ourselves for what's out there like Harry said in Umbridge's first speech. It's about making sure we can really defend ourself." Hermione retorted.

"Even if we think about it, we need a teacher to help us. And we're out of those." Ron said in a defeated voice.

"I was thinking if you could do it" Hermione said looking at Harry.

"Could do what?" Harry looked at her suspiciously and asked.

"Teach us how to defend ourselves."

"WHAAAA...." Harry exclaimed..

"Yes. I have been thinking since you are better than anyone here in defensive spells."

"That's rubbish. You have always scored more than me in every exam."

"Actually you have beaten me the one time when we had a competent teacher Lupin. That was the one time where we actually had to do some spells and you aced it. But also look at what you've done.."

" What do you mean?" Harry asked.

"Ok if he wants it that way... Let's think... First year .. you saved the Stone from You-Know-Who... Second year you killed the basilisk and destroyed Riddle....Third year... You fought off a hundred dementors.... Last year you fought---"

"Enough .. stop it alright. Look it sounds good when you say it like that but whatever happened happened because I thought right or help came at the right time. I never planned anything, I just did what I thought would work or whatever fluke you think it is. All I could think of was- STOP LAUGHING- there was nothing except me and death . You stand here thinking that I know better but if I did , Cedric would still be alive ..."

" Hey mate we were not having a go at Diggory, we were --" Ron stammered being at a loss.

" Harry what Ron is saying is we were not mocking Diggory.. but you see we need you because you know what it's like to face him - face Voldemort. Just don't answer right now. Sleep on it." With that Ron and Hermione retreated to their rooms.

Harry was pondering about what they suggested.

"It's him..."

What the fuck. How did he find me. No one knows where I am. Madam President promised me no one would know.

" What the fuck are you doing here and how did you find me here Donovan?" The little bitch always was at a wrong place at the wrong time. I never liked him.

"Hey sweetheart. I missed you. As for how, well when I learned about ministries around the world knowing about London's scandal, I knew it was your job. So I took the next flight and voila."

"What do you want. And also leave. If anyone sees you they might not be happy."

" Like I care." He said smugly,"also I thought you could need a hand with your problem."

" I don't. Get lost now. And also don't show your face here or trust me you won't like what happens after that."
