Donny walked out the castle after his chat with Alexis. When he heard Alexis taking a teaching job, he was curious. Alexis would never leave the states, so why travel half way across the Earth for a teaching job when she was gonna get a much better job than this. She was going to be an Aurora. She was going to take guardianship so why let it go for a teaching job.

He started sniffing around, listening, watching everything. He heard news of a mass murderer Voldemort being back in the British School of Magic. Ministries didn't panic because the Madam President told them it might not be another Grindelwald. He wasted no time to find out about this new threat. He had a lot of resources on his hand just like Alexis.

He learnt of Voldemort, all and everything there was. Not much but enough to know, that wizard can't be much of threat. So asking himself why she was there. Why go for a lesser opponent when she always went for a better competition.

He had been watching her moves but did not get any answers. Whatever the reasons for her being here was either just a precaution by the American ministry or the secret was being kept too well.

Donovan considered her a friend. They had a healthy competition but at the end of the day they fought like cats and dogs. They both were somewhat same. Killer attitude but good at heart. He didn't want to admit it but he worried about her.

He confronted her that day and she almost choked him to death. But he was planning on staying as long as she did. But right now he had to find how to stay in the castle.

He was walking out of the grounds when he bumped into someone. That someone was Dumbledore.

" Eh Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going."

" It's no problem. May I know who are you and what are you doing so late here."

"I came here to meet someone. Alexis King, a teacher for Defense."

"Oh yes. I remember. How do you know her?"

"I'm from the same school. Same batch. I heard she was here and since I was in town, I dropped by to see her. Actually I was looking for a job in Scotland. I moved here recently." Donovan wanted Dumbledore to get him in. He knew that man wanted something so he offered his services because the old goat looked like he wanted to do the exact same thing.

"Oh so you are from Ilvermony. I'm sorry I hadn't known about you. I have heard about this subject um Magical Literature in Ilvermony. We don't have a subject but I think students should learn about it. If you want, you can consider it."

Donovan internally smirked at the desperation of the old man and said," that's a good offer. Also I aced that subject so it should be fine. Also no books would be required for this subject."

Donovan was happy he did not have to do anything to get in but also worried because for nothing is Albus Dumbledore is known as the strongest of all the wizards. He had to be careful. He checked often if his wards in the mind were still there because he had to be careful of this old man until he could build trust.

Dumbledore was happy he found someone to help him find out about the girl who is mystery to all but one.
" You can start next week. And you can join for the breakfast tomorrow. Good night."

Donovan nodded and left the place.

Tomorrow is well let's hope tomorrow. Alexis hopes for less problems but now they are growing. She is unaware of the addition of one of her old batch mates but now that he joins what will happen.

A Monday morning like a normal days.

Teachers were seated but confused on seeing another chair at the big table. So were the students. They looked confused as to why was there another empty chair at the big table. For who and was something else going to happen this year.
