New Ally

Sorry for the delay. This lockdown is also turning to be very hectic. So here goes.

No one's POV
For the upcoming days, Perci tried to make Donovan's life hell in Hogwarts but to no avail. She did everything she could but when Donovan understood who and why, he decided not to budge. He went through everything thrown at him with a smile which frustrated her to no end.

He knew twins were helping her in pranking him, so he approached them and got them on his side.

Flashback
Donovan saw the twins get out of the tower at night to find some secret passage ways. He followed them and approached them.

"Hello boys"

They turned and saw him.
"Hello professor" they chorused.

"What are you doing so late here. Isn't it against the rules that you cannot roam around the school after 10."

They did seem surprised to find him there. They shared a look and asked,
"What did you want Professor. If you didn't, we would be in detention. Not that we would mind."

Donovan suddenly saw himself in the twins and how much trouble he got into. He smirked and said,"Right on dot huh. Yes infact I did want something. I know you two have been pranking me and I know Alexis put you up to this. Don't worry. I'm not a tattle tale. But I do want something and in return, I'll owe one to the both of you. Also I'll help you out of any trouble you might get into in future."

The twins looked shocked as to what he could possibly want. They decided to hear him out." What do you want Professor?"

Donovan smiled and said,"Not much, just that you stay out of war between me and Alexis and all will be fine for you. I can also save you from her wrath. I know she is getting frustrated. Leave her to me and walk away and in return I'll make sure you have an amazing time here and also some favours here and there. I know how hard it is get prank supplies. What do you say, do we have a deal?"

The twins were conflicted. Alexis was family and they didn't want to let her down and on the other hand Donovan said he'd take care of her. They agreed to leave him be and left with heavy hearts. Upset about hurting someone they saw as a sister and friend.

Flashback ends

Donovan made sure to give back as much as he endured but what he didn't know was she was ready for pranks having grown up around mischief twins back home in New York. She avoided the pranks on her but so did Donovan.

Everyone could notice the animosity between the two and were curious and worried as to what was next.

Severus Snape was one of the people who knew him and knew the past of the two and intervened whenever possible but ofcourse none was willing to back down.

"Why dont you stop, Ally. This is getting out of hand."

She knew if Sev used her nick name meaning he was serious. But her pride would not let her back down and also the possibility that Donovan might be the person to bring trouble to her paradise here.

"No. I won't back down. I want him gone. You don't get it Sev. He might be working for the other side. There are still some followers out there. What if he has joined hands with them. What if he is here to hurt me. No I want him gone."

"Why dont you ask and clear your doubts about my intentions here, rather than filling it with ill intentions." Donovan joined the duo.

She was stunned to see him here. She didn't care for her life but rather her brother's.

"Fine go ahead tell me. How did you come to know about me. Why are you here. What do you want?."

"Is it that hard to believe that I'm here to offer you my services and help.?"

"Yes it is. Because if you know and can find me, so can the others who I am avoiding. His followers are still lurking in the shadows. I didn't exactly leave a trail, so how did you know where exactly. That's the reason. If they follow you here, everything that I am working for will be destroyed. People will be killed. Lives will be lost. That's why I want you to go away so you don't accidentally point them in my direction." She begged and told him the half truth.

Half truth she knew that him arriving means they're here too. And Soon they will come out of the shadows looking for her. That's the prophecy here.
