Water and Magic Do Mix

First night back at Hogwarts

Harry's POV
The introduction was very very surprising. That's why she was all happy and secretive. This year is going to be interesting I mean after the ministry trial I think they were threatened to take her so she has something new and wouldn't isolate them from the other wizarding schools and ministries.

I was most thrilled. It was knowing my family is here like I felt for Remus when he was here. Maybe there will be some pranks and fun things this year.

Looks like Ron and Hermione fought again. They are at it again. They always do that. It's ok now to let them be coz they make up later anyways.

Ron and Hermione left for their prefect duties. I was left in the Hall. Hagrid hadn't come back. I was worried. But I put that thought aside and went to welcome Alexis as a professor. It might be weird. As I shouldn't know her. As soon as I was up the table, professor McGonagall stood in my way with her.

"Um hello professor McGonagall, welcome Professor King." I greeted her.

"Hello Harry. Had dinner properly?" Alexis asked me.

"Yes I did."

"Shall we professor king?" McGonagall said leading her somewhere.

"Um where are you going professor if you don't mind me asking?" I felt so stupid. What is wrong with me.

"She doesn't know her way around Potter. I'm showing her around."

"I can do that, if you don't mind that is."

McGonagall stared at me and Alexis or should I say professor king was looking amused.

"I don't mind at all. I just need the tour, be it from a student or professor, don't care about that."

"Ok fine. You know the passwords to the towers I suppose."

"Yes professor."

I was really excited. It was like having family visit the castle like the last year. I must have looked really weird coz they were both staring at me.

"Shall we?"

"Yes sir, I mean professor." She chuckled lightly.

Then I started showing her the castle I know. With the towers, the kitchens, the classrooms, the bathrooms, the astronomy tower and her classroom the end of the tour.

"Wow, I never knew castles can be made into a schools. This is good. I hadn't expected this."

"The best is the astronomy tower. At night it is the most beautiful."

"Ya it can be. Star gazing is something I love as well."

"It's late you should be heading back to your tower. C'mon I'll take you back to Gryffindor tower."

"No it's ok. I mean you don't know the place. You might get lost."

"No I won't. Now c'mon."

"Did you know the way around?"

She didn't answer. She just smiled.

"You did."

"C'mon or someone will find a reason to dock points from your house."

We walked. I was deep in thought about how she knew and if she did then why was McGonagall showed her around. We reached. Then I realized I don't know the password. Oh God. I didn't know the password. What will I do?. She was looking like she was waiting for something. Oh she was a teacher, she knows the password. I am becoming really stupid. I looked at her sheepishly.

"Took you long enough." She smirked. This really is embarrassing. That's why she came. She knew I didn't know the password.

"Mimbulus mimbletonia"

"Correct"  the door opened showing the way inside.

"Will you go inside or are you planning to stay outside."

"Yes I am. Thank you. Good night Professor."

"Night."

Some night. I went and sat down in the chair beside the fireplace. The night was really amazing. I don't know why I feel this familial bond with her. Maybe because I wish she was my sister.

I was thinking for a while I guess because Ron came looking for me. He asked me where I was and why I was late.

"Nothing actually I was showing Alexis around. She's the new teacher so I was being nice I guess". Then we walked up the stairs to our room where I had a spat with Seamus because he didn't believe that Voldemort was really alive and back. He really ruined such a good mood I had. I really wanted to leave the tower again and spend time with Alexis but unfortunately I cannot. So somehow I convince myself to not leave the tower invisible and sleep it off.

In the meantime
Pierce's POV
I was walking away from the Gryffindor tower when I felt a presence near me.

"You should know better than to follow me around Sevy."

"Just wanted to know if you got around without any trouble."

"You do know I have a photographic memory, right? So what was it that you wanted to tell me?"

"Yea, I had a talk with Dumbledore recently. Wanna guess who it was about?"

"Not particularly."

"You. I gave him your school records only. But he seems skeptical. I am sure he is shocked by today's events. I think he is still processing what happened today. Hey, how did you convince minister to let you step in for a DADA teacher. They don't let anyone step in easily."

"Oh I have my ways. You should know by now. I threatened him in a way and he did this. I have to be here especially after- ..." I turned around so fast and threw a dagger at something or someone.

I de-spelled the invisibility spell and to my surprise it was Dumbledore. The dagger got him in the shoulder and it was bleeding bad because the dagger is magical and it weakens the person it comes in contact with.

I walked over, pulled the dagger out of his shoulder and healed his shoulder.

"You scared me, headmaster."

"You don't look scared."

"It's a reflex. Don't ever sneak up on me or you might get hurt a lot."

"Is that a threat?"

"No I'm just warning you. I have quick reflexes and I don't want hurt you in any way....... for now."

"Would you like to finish your statement? About how you got this job?"

"After the trial fiasco, he wanted to get in my good graces so he said I could teach here and see how great the legacy of Hogwarts school is."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, did you think of something else. I assure you there was no foul play. I just talked to him. And he agreed." I know he didn't believe me and he looked at Severus questionably using Legilimency. I MMed him about it but I think he had wards placed already since this would be a regular sort of occurrence. After a while they seemed normal. Looks like dumb-as-door didn't get anything from him. Thank God.

"Anyways, I going to get some sleep now. It's late. Goodnight Severus... Headmaster." And I walked away. I vapor travelled home and met with Aaron.

We both talked about our day and fell asleep.

Tomorrow is going to be one hell of a day.
