The Decision

Pierce's POV
My mind was going million thoughts per second. I was just walking aimlessly around the camp not knowing what or where I was going.

Suddenly I bumped into someone. I was already agitated with the news I heard, so I snapped,"watch where your going" . It was Leo,"Relax, I was trying to get your attention for a while now. I thought you could help me"." Not now, Leo", I replied and walked away trying to breathe. "Why not, what happened?"." Nothing just not interested right now", I said and walked away not noticing the stares I was getting. As soon as I reached my cabin, I locked the door and brought out my family album feeling nostalgic and tears welding up in my eyes with each photograph I am seeing .

Annabeth's POV
As soon as Perci stepped out of the Big House, she seemed dazed like she had no idea where she was going. I was worried, what was going on with her because she was fine before meeting Chiron.

I met Chiron's eyes. His eyes showed he knew what had happened and he did not like what was happening. I was about to go after Perci but Chiron said," leave her be, she just needs time"." Time for what Chiron?", I was confused why Chiron would say something like this.

What is happening? Why is she in such a bad mood? All these questions were swarming in my head but I did not go after Perci. But neither could I concentrate on anything. Capture the Flag was going to start and Perci was nowhere to be seen. I asked Chiron about it but he said to start without her.

The blue team won and everyone was in the mess Hall but I wandered off to check on Perci. No matter what Chiron said I wanted to know what was happening with Perci. She did not even have her dinner.

I knocked on her cabin door, but got no response. So I went to the beach and found her laying on the turf. She did not acknowledge my presence until I walked up to her and sat next to her.

"Perci, what happened? Is everything okay? You seem worried"." Nothing Annabeth, just waiting for Dad , need to talk to him about something. There is nothing to be worried about", she said.

"Why are you going to Lord Poseidon? It has to be serious if you are going to talk to him. Is it about the woman who came to see you? What did she say? Tell me".

"Chill Annabeth. Anyways that's my cue to leave", she said and walked into the sea.

I sat there wondering what had happened now. After couple minutes I walked back to my cabin with Percy's words in my thoughts and slept.

In the meantime. In Atlantis..
Pierce's POV
I swam towards my dad's palace. When I got close, I greeted the guards and went inside. Dad was in his Chambers resting. I felt I was intruding his rest but an encouraging smile let that thought slide away.

"Hi Dad", I said and was engulfed in a hug by him. Just what I needed right now. Amphritite gave me the stink eye, but I ignored it. Triton just nodded in my direction and swam away.

"What happened, Perci? You seem a lot worried. Is everything okay?", He asked."I don't know, Dad. Someone came to see me today and brought me some bad news I'm afraid.", I replied.
I told him what happened at camp. Who came to meet me and what has to be done. I was scared to say the least.

"I don't know what to do dad. I'm not sure if I want to go to London . What am I supposed to do",I cried in front of him. He embraced me and comforted me. He knew what my past is and what is making me scared to go back.

He vapor travelled us to our favorite spot."Perci, I can't tell you what to do but to always do what your heart says. It will be the best guide to you.", He said. "But I don't know if it's the right thing to do even if my heart agrees", I replied.

' what if it turns out to be a mistake '. With these thoughts I stayed in my bedroom in Atlantis, thinking if going to London is the right thing to do or not?. Dad thinks I should go and get closure ..

I wake up in the morning to find dad and Triton in the throne room discussing something. I go upto my dad and let him know that I was returning to camp. He hugged me saying he was gonna miss me and told me to take care of myself. I also told him I'm going to go there. He understood.

I swam to the beach and willed myself dry. I walked to the mess Hall and got my breakfast. As soon as I sat down , I was surrounded by the seven asking me where I was.

"Geez guys, chill out. I'm hungry . Let me eat then I'll talk..", I said .

"No, you will talk first. It was strange seeing you like this. You have never behaved like this . Talk to us, we are your family too." Thalia said.

I replied, "hey when did you arrive thals."

"Don't change the subject Pierce Jackson", she retorted.

"Will you all calm down. It was no big deal ok. I just had to talk to Dad about something. That lady just came to give me a message from dad." I answered and went to Chiron meaning to talk to him.

I went to the big house with Chiron . Making sure no one was eavesdropping, I told him, I was going to go home and then leave from there.

"You have my cell number. Call me if there is an emergency. I was also thinking of staying there for more than just one year. I haven't thought much about it. It depends on the circumstances.

Chiron replied,"I am happy you decided to go. And also proud.
Yes I do have you number. I take it the seven, Thalia and Nico don't know anything and it has to be kept like that."

I nodded in reply and thanked him and went back to the cabin to pack my stuff, all of it. After answering the questions of course or they would've killed me.

It been a long time since I've used magic. So I lock the doors and windows so no one peeps before packing my stuff. Hey its a lot of stuff. So that's why I'm using magic .
