No one's POV
First day was good. But was it enough? No. Harry soon realized that what Fred and George said was true - fifth years were a nightmare. He was already knee deep in homework and it's just been 3 days since he has been back to Hogwarts .

On top of that, Hagrid hadn't returned from whatever he was doing for Dumbledore and from the looks of it Malfoy was making every effort to make his days miserable in Hogwarts. He really was in a bad mood. On top of that Umbridge got him in detention for talking about Voldemort being back. Angelina was not happy that he was skipping the trials . Well neither was he but luck was not in his favor. He tried to talk to Umbridge about letting him off on Friday but to no avail. He was half in his mind to talk to Alexis about it but he wasn't sure how she would be able to do something. Also he did not want to give her a reason to think he was a baby.

Harry found out Ron has been practicing for the keeper post and wanted to see how good he was but doubtful he would be let off.

Friday dawned and Harry was down all day because one - he had mountainous pile of homework, two - detention with Umbridge and three - not being there for the Quidditch trials. Atleast he could get a view of the field from the classroom.

He went to her office which was pink and disgusting. He couldn't wait to get out of there.

He sat down and asked what he had to do. She gave him lines and a quill to write . He asked how many times and the weirdest reply was "till the message sinks in". Whatever that meant. He started to work on it when he felt his left hand twinge with pain. When he saw he saw that the lines were etching on the back of his hand. He looked at her in horror but she just smiled and asked if everything was ok. He went back to his work like nothing happened. He did not want to give her the satisfaction that she got to him. After the detention, he was walking back to his dorm when he saw Alexis. She was talking to Snape. He did not know what to do so he kept walking. But was spotted by Snape. Just his luck. She would now think he was eavesdropping.

"Potter what are you doing here so late?" Snape asked me.

Alexis was watching with amusement. What was amusing about it, that was the thought in Harry's mind.

"I just came back from detention from madam Umbridge. I was going back to the dorm to sleep." Harry answered.

"Hmph. First week and a detention already that too by her. You should know how to behave in front of others." Snape said and turned around. Harry was feeling worse and could not look at Alexis thinking that she might see him as a trouble maker but what she said made him smile for the first time in this week.

"Oh c'mon it's no big deal. It's just detention. I used to be named detention girl because of the troubles I used to create. He should be proud." Alexis said and smiled making his mood better.

"It's not like that. You should not encourage such behavior professor King." Snape replied haughtily. She just rolled her eyes and beckoned me forward. Snape just went and stood a little a far.

"Did you have fun.?" She asked Harry.

"Um no actually. It wasn't fun." Harry answered her truthfully. He felt better here that she was supporting him. Alexis frowned at him when he scratched his nose. Harry did not understand why the change of expression but quickly realised what changed. He hid his hand but the damage was done. Harry saw her eyes. There was anger he never has seen in anybody's eyes, not even Dumbledore. He walked back but she took his injured hand to inspect it. Harry was going to wave it off but seeing her expression thought better. He did not want her to think that he couldn't take care of himself. But the expression was so dangerous that he felt something change even more so when Snape came near us and saw what happened.
