Back At Camp

Ever since Perci left, people have been very shocked. Her behaviour had changed. They couldn't seem to get it in their heads that that could be Perci. Annabeth did not want to believe that Perci was capable of having an attitude. She always thought she could read Perci like an open book. Now she was left wondering did she really know Perci?

Nico was in shock of the reality of campers and Perci's attitude towards them. He was angry to say the least. He wanted to confront those people who were making such comments about the heroine of Olympus. She could not believe Annabeth or Piper would ever think of Perci like that. He was disgusted by their behaviour. He wanted to leave but also wanted to see if anyone like Chiron or Grover who seemed to have this knowing look would spill the beans. He decided after this he would leave and come back when Perci will. But was Perci coming back.

It has been a week since Perci left. The seven, Thalia and Nico have not been able to get a good sleep. At Olympus, gods were also baffled at her behaviour. They wanted to know about Perci but did not ask because they did not want to invite Poseidon's wrath. Athena was frustrated beyond limit but was wise not to show it in front of the the sea God, not wanting to start a war one which she knew she would not win.

Poseidon was proud to say the least and also sad at what hardships his princess had to endure and will endure. He wanted to take her to his palace and never let the world know or see her. He was that protective. He only let her be now because she asked for it. He wanted to be the father she desired and deserved and was trying his best to be one. He knew everyone wanted to know about his daughter's life but it wasn't some gossip or something. She deserves her privacy. And he would always give it to her.

It has been a week of chaos at camp and Olympus but none let it show. But something was going to happen today. Chiron and Grover were in the big house and Chiron had called the seven and Thalia and Nico to the big house for something.

Chiron had talked to Perci this morning and was going to fulfill her wishes of letting her friends know part of her life. Not knowing that the gods will also be joining today of the seven. The ones that were curious anyways.

It was around after lunch when he called the said demigods to the big house. He relayed Perci's message about letting them know about her in Yancy. Grover was anxious of their reactions a lot. Soon the seven came but with them came the gods so did Poseidon as he wanted to know what did his daughter want her friends to know. So he showed up with popcorn.

"My Lords and ladies, what brings you here to camp."

"We wanted to know what you were going to share about Perci. We were curious too as Poseidon is too stubborn to share anything about his daughter." Zeus replied.

"Um it's not something you would like to know. I mean to say it's not something important."

"Be as it may, we would like to know." Zeus answered.

Poseidon could only watch in amusement that people here thought his daughter was that interesting. Well it was true.

"Um ok. Grover if you may." Chiron asked Grover.

"Oh yes, um I um know most of you were wondering about her behaviour in camp before she left. Well it was unusual for you but she has always been like that the difference was in the war you did not notice thinking that it was normal to be agitated but it was normal. She did not like people pushing her around or toying with her. She just let it be here because she did not want people to be jealous or try to bad mouth her for no reason just because she has an attitude. At school she had a killer attitude and so there no one messed with her at all. What stories you heard of our time in Yancy were false. The bullies were always afraid of Perci and anyone who was her friend was never bullied. If there were bullies, she was the bigger bully than them. That girl Nancy, what she did was trying to bully me knowing I was off limits but tried her luck but realized her fault when she was supposedly pushed into the water. After that Nancy was bullied to an extent that she never came out of her dorm room for a week. It wasn't Perci who bullied her, she just scared her and threatened her that her life would be hell if she ever bullied any of Perci's friends ever again. Nancy was bullied by other bullies who just um wanted to show Perci they were on her side or just didn't like her. She had an ego and attitude no liked to test. She was feared a bit but was also known to control the bullies to an extent where they would not go overboard with their pranks being afraid of what Perci would do in return. Well what I wanted to say was that behaviour was not unusual for her. If anyone messed with her or her friends or interfered with her life, she got pissed and told them off." Grover told them.

"Grover, how come you lied to us?" Annabeth asked glancing at Poseidon to see how he was taking it. To her shock he was smirking as if proud of her and did not expect anything else.

"Um Perci asked me not to tell anyone of this. She made me swear when we were reaching camp."

"Do you know anything about the woman who came to camp?" Nico asked.

"No I don't know. I didn't know everything about her. She always stayed with her friends. They might know. And also the incident at Yancy was when she was ten. We did stay in touch but I never knew where she went for school after that. When I asked, she always replied her father told her to go somewhere. It was 2 years later that she told me she was going to go to Montauk beach for vacations after school and that's when everything from the beach to the Minotaur part came from. Sally or her friends, mostly her friends would know everything about her. She always hung out with them." Grover answered Nico.

"Who were these friends. Is one of them Paige?" Piper asked remembering the video call.

"Uh I don't know. I've never met her friends. She always used endearments or nicknames so I never knew." Grover replied.

"Where was she for 2 years after Yancy Academy, Lord Poseidon do you know?" Thalia asked Lord Poseidon.

"Yes I do know. I always knew most of the happenings of her life except the ones when she was young. She never did tell me. I always kept an eye on her because I knew she would attract dangers. But when she was seven that was when I started to keep an eye on her personally. First it was just some cyclops who watched over her. But to answer your question, dear niece, yes I did know where she was for her school years. I told her to take it."

"But what about the schools like where explosion took place and Goode high?"
Athena asked.

"She never attended those. I know she went to Goode with Paul to his work and Sally. She just accompanied him and stayed there for orientation because she was bored. Other schools after ten years of age I don't know why she was there. I'll have to ask her." Poseidon answered Athena.

"Why the lies brother?" Hades asked as he had come to like Poseidon spawn.

"Is it care I detect in your tone brother. Anyways I had to protect her same way you did by keeping your children in casino I suppose but not from our baby brother but other things or people coming for her."

"Heyy don't call me that Poseidon."

"So where is she now. Can you tell us uncle P? I find it weird she is hidden from my sight as well. I can't see her. I was able to when she was here." Apollo asked as he liked her or maybe have a crush on her but then who wouldn't. She was gorgeous but no one has the guts to say it for the fear of facing Poseidon's wrath for trying to ask his most beloved daughter out.

"Yes that was me. I had keep it like that as her secret cannot be out without there being severe consequences. She has another life, that she has to live but cannot let anyone know,as it would be  putting her or the people here or the people there in danger. She would not have that. With that being said, there should be nothing more to discuss and please do not hound the satyr, he already looks scared to death that he had to share with demigods who are the strongest of the generation about my princess." Poseidon answered and left leaving a sea breeze scent back.

The gods and demigods looked at each other clearly shocked of the information they had gotten and left with the gods following their example.
