Depression Poem

I stand there.

Motionless.

As I walk around in the light,

I only stumble in the dark.

Judgement's clouded.

By tormenting thoughts.

Forever waiting for the clouds to lift.

Forever waiting for the sadness to go away.

But they never do.

They never do.

Its like a parasite that you cannot kill.

It feeds on you.

It lives on you.

It is a part of you.

But until this sadness goes away.

I stay, I stay.

In the dark cave...

That I call depression.
