Alina's pov

I stared at Edward in shock. Tears immediately pooled onto my eyelids. I didn't even notice it. I felt shattered. The hope that was building steadily throughout my stay here suddenly fled from me. I felt hollow. My heart seemed broken. My breath caughtin my throat. The tears finally spilled down my cheeks and I did nothing to stop them. Why should I bother? More will just keep coming.
He looked alarmed at the tears spilling down my cheeks. But I didn't care. I was focusing on not crumbling in front of me. My pride can't take any more hits. My voice trembled as I asked softly the question that came to mind.
"Why?"
He looked at me confused as if he didn't understand me. He seemed to feel lost between drying my tears and finding out the reason for my reaction. I took a deep breath and asked again.
"Why do you want to betray me?" I didn't let him reply. My temper suddenly snapped and I poured out my thoughts, my pain.
"Why? Why do you want to do this to me? What have I done to deserve this? How could you Edward? I trusted you. I loved you like a brother. I told you my deep dark secrets. I had faith in you. Yet all these while, you were planning to betray me"
He looked dumbfounded and confused. He looked so lost it was almost convincing that he really didn't know what I was talking about. I shook off the thought. I had heard him correctly. He wants to reveal my secret to William.
"Alina you - - - - " He finally started to speak but I didn't let him. I cut him off saying.
"What do you have to say Edward? Nothing, that's what. What did I do to deserve that from you? Why do you want to betray me after everything we shared. I can't believe I trusted you. You are a monster and I hate you"
I poured out everything. All my pain, my hope, everything. With that said, I took off. I ran without stopping. I didn't look back. I heard Edward call out to me to stop but I ignored him. I refused to look back. I just kept going. I heard heavy footsteps coming after me and I knew it was Edward trying to chase me. I moved my legs to go faster and increased my speed. My legs seemed to fly of the ground. I ran and ran without knowing where I was going.

Edward's pov

I ran after Alina trying to catch her. I honestly don't understand what just happened. One minute we are talking and the next minute, she is crying about betrayals and running off. I tried to explain what I meant to her but she didn't give me the chance to. She completely misunderstood my statement. This was a bad idea. I should have kept my mouth shut. Damn it. I saw her run into the forest and followed in after her. However I lost her in the forest when I ran in. I saw no sign of Alina. It seemed as if she was never there. I had no idea which direction she went. I searched and searched till night fell. I had to go back. I couldn't stay in the forest unharmed.
When I got home, I couldn't sleep. I kept tossing and turning thinking about Alina alone out there in the forest. The next morning, I got dressed quickly and picked up my sword. I also carried my bow and arrows just in case and set out for the first. Deep in the forest, I looked around confused. Everything looks the same. I couldn't even find a trace of footsteps. Damn idiot Edward. You should have known that she'd have gone so deep in the forest that it'll be almost impossible to track her yourself, I told myself. I definitely am not good at tracking. I've been turning around in circles for hours. It's time to get help. I'll have to contact an old friend of mine to come help.
Castor.

Castor pov

I sat at home finally at rest. Since I moved away from my parents palace, I haven't had a moment of peace until today. It felt so good to tell them off. I had just gotten back from home after visiting my palace. As the second son of king Lancaster, I didn't have much to do in my kingdom so I spent my time doing other things like hunting and forging weapons. I did whatever pleased me at my own time. If my parents need anything, they should ask their precious son, Damian. I took a sip of my wine and stood up about making my way to my armoury to pick up my weapons and go hunting when I heard a knock. I didn't bother answering since I knew a servant will do that.
A servant walked up to me and said.
"Your highness, you have a guest"
I raised a brow and asked
"Who is it?"
"He says he is Sir Edward of Radar"
I smiled when I heard the name and ordered.
"Let him in immediately"
I strolled into the sitting room smiling
"Edward my friend it's been awhile"
To my surprise, he didn't smile at me. Infact he had a serious look on his face and I knew there was trouble. His next words confirmed it.
"I need your help Castor"
