Alina's pov

I watched William joke around with Edward and Castor. They all looked alike and a stranger might confuse them as brothers. They are all tall and insanely handsome. Their high ranking personality was also intriguing and captivating. A king (William), A prince (Castor) and a special advisor (Edward). I know I was supposed to feel left out but I didn't. Because technically my rank is more higher than theirs. But they didn't let it show. They didn't treat me differently. And I was glad about that. I also felt the need to protect them. I murmured something and a bright light appeared and enveloped the three of them. I nodded at myself in satisfaction. My mind was occupied with one thought and I wasted no time to ask Edward about it.
   "Edward" I called out.
He stood up from where he was discussing with the others and approached me.
"What's up Alina?" he said taking a seat beside me.
"I was watching the confrontation you guys had with Alice in the forest and I couldn't help but notice you say something that made her furious enough to attack you. What was it?"
Edward scratched the back of his head and smiled sheepishly at me. A sure sign that he screwed up.
"I told her that I had something that belongs to her" he said
"What!" I exclaimed in shock. He practically sold me to her. No wonder Alice was furious. Now she knows where I am. She'll attack the people of Radar again. I stood up and start pacing the carpet. I was furious at Edward but deep down I was scared. William and Castor broke their conversation and approached Edward. William looked at me and turned to Edward and asked "What's going on?" Edward filled them in on what he just told me. William frowned and slapped Edward at the back of his head.
"You are an idiot" he exclaimed. Edward yelped and rubbed the back of his head scowling at William. I noticed Castor give Edward a sly look but I ignored it. William look as if in deep thought. Then he turned to me.
"I can practically hear your thoughts from here Alina. Don't think about leaving. You won't even get out the room. I'll send a thousand scouts to bring you back if you do. Besides How long do you plan to run? I think it's time for you to stop running. It's time to stand and fight"
I couldn't help but agree with what William said. There was sense in what he said. How long will I keep running from Alice? I can't run forever. It's time for retaliation.

William's pov

I could see the wheels turning in Alina's head. She was considering my idea. Good. I don't understand what this feeling I feel for her is but I want to explore it. I have a feeling that I'll like where it will lead to. I saw Castor and Edward whispering to each other and I wondered what was such a secret that he couldn't say it out for the rest of us to hear. Then Edward and Castor came towards me and Alina. Castor turned to Alina and said.
"If you are going to stand and fight, you need to protect yourself."
Alina scoffed at him and said
"Please.... I could defeat any of you in battle on your best day besides I don't think Alice is brave enough to attack me one on one. She's not stupid." The rest of us agreed with her. One thing about Alice is that is she's very smart. Definitely not stupid. Edward chimed in and said "Yeah she seems frightened of you" Castor nodded agreeing with him but he went on to say
"That's my point. Though Alice knows where you arebut she won't come for you. She'll try to get to you by attacking the people closest to you"
Edward and I agreed with Castor but I saw Alina shook her head.
"That won't be possible. I put a protection spell around the three of you while you were all talking"
We all turned to her in shock. I felt a sort of glee in my heart that she cared about me enough to protect me. She ignored our reactions and continued. "It will protect you from any magical spell she casts. That doesn't mean you guys are not vulnerable to other weapons. Swords and arrows and whatnot can still hurt you. But I know you all can defend yourselves when it comes to that"
My heart swelled at her. Yes I said me. Ignore the other two idiots. They are not relevant in this case. However I was still concerned.
"What about the people? Who'll protect them?" Edward voiced out my thoughts. I could see Alina didn't expect that question. Castor spoke up.
"How about you put a spell at the boundaries of Radar that will prevent anyone with black magic from entering? Is there a spell like that?" Hmm good idea. Alina shook her head and replied
"No there's no such spell but I can create one" We all nodded agreeing to the plan. Edward spoke up. He looked apprehensive of what he wants to say.
"I think you should move to the palace Alina"
I whipped around so fact I wondered why my neck didn't snap.
"What!"
