Princess Elena's pov

It's been a week since my talk with the others. Ever since then, I noticed Edward stares at me in a whole new way. Those I still don't understand the meaning behind his stare, I'm tired of waiting. I've never been one to beat around the bush. When I want something, I go for it. I decided to make a move on him today but first, I'll talk to my new best friend about it and see what she thinks. I'm sure you are wondering who I'm talking about. Well it's Alina. Yeah I know it's surprising but we instantly clicked and became friends. On that day, my father had sent me a letter saying I have three months to get married to William or he'll pick another husband for me. I had gotten angry at that and unknowingly set my chambers on fire with magic. The servants had quickly put out the fire but I couldn't stop myself from trembling. Not even Edward's touch could calm me down. I wasn't trembling because of my father's threats, no, I was trembling because I could have hurt or killed someone. Alina had walked me to the garden, sat me down and said
"I understand what you are going through. When I first discovered I had magic, I was out of control. I had accidentally burnt a rabbit and couldn't stop the guilt. My sisters taught me to channel the guilt into determination. Determination to control it so it won't happen again. I
know you wonder about my identity, well I'll give you a clue. I am the Empress of light. Find out the rest for yourself. It'll give you something to do and stop you from thinking" With that said that she had smiled and embraced me in the sweetest hug ever. Let's just say I quickly figured out her identity after the clue. Her story is a very known tale.
  I strolled through the hallway leading to Alina's chambers humming quietly. I waved off bows by servants.
I reached her door and knocked gently. I heard a faint response, opened the door and strolled in. I stopped short when I saw Alina standing upside down. Her head resting on the bed with her legs dangling above her. She looked worse for wear. Dark circles covered her eye lids and her hair looked like haystacks. Pardon my description but I couldn't think of anything better to describe her. I couldn't help but notice that her cheeks were abnormally red. She turned and watched me with tired eyes. She mused "Now she shows up"
I arched a brow at her and asked
"what's going on?"
She sat upright and stared at me blearily stating
  "I just had the most embarrassing moment in my entire life"
My eyes lit up at the thought of gossip. What do you expect? I'm a girl. I asked eagerly
    "Why? what happened?"
She sighed. Her cheeks were tinted red. Oh my God. Alina was blushing. Someone has a crush. Whatever happened must be embarrassing. I bounced from one leg to the other eager to hear the juicy details.

Few minutes ago

Alina's pov

I have been researching about spells in the library and i haven't found anything yet. So imagine my surprise when I found a diary hidden deep within the library. It looked old and worn out I could still make out the writing. I opened the book to see thousands of spells written carefully with illustrations. I squealed out in joy. I wondered who hid it there. Obviously someone who didn't want anyone to find it with the way it was hidden. I sniffed the book and caught a distinct scent of roses. It must belong to a woman, I thought. Men aren't really fond of roses. Who owns it? Hmm, perhaps I should ask William maybe he'll know. I made my way out the library and ran towards William's chambers to show him. We haven't really talked since we kissed. He didn't talk about it and I didn't bring it up either. I was too embarrassed with the way I had grabbed and kissed him back. I must have seemed like a wanton to him. I shuddered at the thought. I ran through the hallway and stopped in front of his door. When I got to his door, I didn't bother knocking. I was too excited to remember. I threw open the door only to stand there and stare shocked to my bones. William stared right back at me. His mouth opened in shock.
William was naked.
